  1. Oh it is indeed... DUDE. You're gonna LOVE that thing! That is a sick, sick build. Same frame as mine, but mine has the air shock (DHX 5) and the same fork. I see you got a spare air shock as well. Prob the DHX5,0 air... That is a wicked, wicked bike.
  2. That settles it then. Black Black it is... You have no option, crow.
  3. Really!? I think I may need a new set of brakes then. In fact, my hard tail could use my elixir 5's! Twin pot would suit me and my fat ass!
  4. Should still be better to route them that way. I think it's far neater, personally. Also opens up the top guide for a dropper in the future...
  5. Run it under. That's how it is on my reign and it works a treat. Effectively uses the lower guides and goes under the linkage. Far neater and far less likely to rub on anything. If the rear triangle is like mine then there are actually ports that you can use to run the cable internally on the rear triangle...
  6. Just set the stopper. Yes, the cages are a bit different (2x is a bit more curved cos of the smaller big ring) but you're going to go 1x10 eventually so it's not a hassle!
  7. Sweet sled dude! Those sektors are basically revelations in drag. Very under rated fork and far better than any fox crud. Keep the gripshift. It's a great system and will serve you well! As for the rest - flog it individually. Someone WILL take the elixirs and the rest of the slx stuff. I might even put the slx crank on it in place of the truvativ.
  8. For me, Christie, it's about simplicity. Only one shifter to worry about and the bar setup is so much cleaner and simpler. Also frees up space for dropper actuators and such.
  9. In CT, as normal. But it seems to have suffered a PR heart attack this year. Been hardly any advertisement at all.
  10. the main thing is being able to run a 10t at the rear. Which will allow higher top speeds in some areas, or a change to a smaller chainring at the front for clearance / climbing etc. Just basically offering a bigger spread than normal 1x10 options, which sacrifice a bit either side due to the loss of one ring at the front. The major one is the 10t sprocket. That's why the XD is needed. Especially if you're riding varied terrain, or want to run as big a gear up front as possible to maximise speed. IMO there's a huge need for XX1. Okay, more of a want - wider range than 1x10 and not as much need to have 2 spare chainrings for different environments, or have the single ring and sacrifice climbing ability as well as descending ability.
  11. HAHA! Blinkers dude, blinkers!!! AAANyway... I reckon a good old bit of yellow won't go amiss. But don't go bos. It's either full black, no accents (with braided hoses, of course) or black / vit P with yellow sleeved braided hoses & cables & yellow decals on the Stans.
  12. Oh - and who wants to see what his tire looked like after 11 laps of Philip Island?!
  13. Yeah. That old sad kwakkasaki. IMO there's no other choice for him, I'm afraid. But hey - we're just the fans. I'd love to see Crutchlow come out and smash that Duc like nobody since Stoner has done, but it just has a history of being a total dog on anything but those old resilient bridgestones they used to run back then. When they really had the edge on power by a factor of bajillions.
  14. And talking of Marc Marquez... This is why I support this kid. Crash on the sighting lap... https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?v=525779697497400&set=vb.424863870922317&type=2&theater
