  1. depends what tires you have dude. Crossmarks - fine. Hans Dampf. . Not so much. I think droo was referring to the proper MTB tires that generally grip better than the tires you're thinking of.
  2. Schalk - you should ride mine. You'd change your ourkook, even if only for one model!

  8. Hey wasn't only me with the beers! Ramsew pitched in as did Crow - San. But yeah - superb amount of trail cut today. If we had been there in the morning as well then the whole trail would have been open for riding... To all that pitched up, thank you!
  9. AWESOME turnout btw. In excess of 23 people on the mountain putting sweat and blood into something that they want to ride. Cold beer and hotdogs afterwards. What a way to spend an afternoon!
  10. So. 3/4 of the trail has been blazed! Promises to be an awesome piece of trail. Fast and flow with a couple of jumps and climbs in for good measure. We had to keep as much height as possible so there is one section where 2 or 3 pedal strokes may be needed to carry speed. last 1/4 is not open yet, but promises to be epic! Lots of speed and flow. Also a couple of bridges needed where there has been mega erosion but those will come. Should be rideable by the end of the week and will be a while to get it fine tuned and "finished"
  11. Yep. One of the only Giant Faiths in the country. Regularly in tokai
  12. Just a quick tip... closing the lever effectively blocks off the flow to the lever side syringe... Also. What may be a stupid q, but.. have you by any chance put the little blocker hobbies on the tube at the lever side? If not - try to depress the caliper side while pulling up the lever side so the lever side creates a suction. Lastly - did you use the right syringe? Some syringes are allergic to dot fluid. If not, only other thing I could offer would be to check that there isn't a blockage at the lever insert or in the tube itself...
  13. It's ACTUALLY a coffee machine, bro. Sheesh. Get it right!
  14. My morning. .. Breakfast in town with the family Pick up beer Walk boomslang again just for final vision Smash out some trails Smash some trail (if my knee is up to it) Steak and wine...

  16. Yep. Indeed. Deon - what hubs u run? If they're the right ones you know what I'm gonna say. Adapter adapter adapter! AFAIK in their testing they found no difference between the 20 mm and the new upgraded 15mm standard ito stiffness and strength
  17. My setup will take the 150mm quite easily. So I think it'll be that one then. Lev it is then, it seems

  19. 10sp shifter / 9 sp shifter / 10 sp cassette? Too many variables to just say yes or no 9sp shifter with 10sp derailleur on a 9sp system - yes you can. Anything else - no you can't/
