I'm looking for a carbon Seatpost. 400mm x 27.2. Dengfu has a 27.2mm but the length is not mentioned and flyxii doesn't have one on their website. Should I just e-mail them and ask? Any experience/advice on carbon seatposts? For MTB (Merida uses 27.2mm). 350mm is too short for me. Any idea if the clamp is carbon? Edit: By clamp I mean where the seatpost "clamps" to the saddle.(not sure what it's called?) Thanks

My perception towards doping has been expanded a little bit. Some things have changed!

Should they change the rules to say "No doping for the fast racers". If you're a weekend warrior, it's all good! Fact of the matter is that it is a RACE. If you're contending for podium or not. It is the organizers responsibility to ensure an even and fair playing field. If you don't want to adhere to the rules(of not taking specific drugs), don't enter the event? Or face the consequences of breaking the rules. How can people complain about the backenders being tested, it's not only the top 20 people that are racing.

I agree that it's maybe a waste of money to test the "backmarkers" but I do think it makes sense. It's not only the best riders who like to ride "competitively" or to challenge themselves. Do you think its fine for "backmarkers" to dope? Say you're racing, in the G bunch, which is a "backmarker" I assume - would you think its fair if the people you are racing against are doping because they're not going for podium anyway... Definitely think its not money well spent, as they are already short on funds, but it's pretty fair - and as someone who isn't going to podium i'm not complaining! "Anabolic steroids, such as stanozolol, have no anti-inflammatory effect, and are used almost exclusively to promote weight and muscle gain. Most side-effects of stanozolol are related to its androgen-type effects (a male hormone)." Yep. I don't know why everyone is saying "bioplus". Edit: Oh and yes, you should research(read: google) every medication(drug) your doctor gives you! Don't trust pharmaceuticals one little bit!!

Doing my first burger, starting in the C bunch. Very excited Not quite sure how i'm going to go about it, thinking ill try get to the front of the chute and then stick with the front of the group up Helshoogte... Would there possibily be breakaways on this climb? Not sure if I would try stick with the break away or rather save my energy and stay in the bunch. First time I race with a decent seeding so don't know what to expect. Very keen though!
