The question that should be asked is how much money has Pinarello (and ASG) lost due to the actions of CS? All those customers who were sold fakes would have purchased genuine Pinarello's if they had known.

Totally agree. I am a Vettel fan and must admit things are not going to well - Ricciardo seems much happier with the car than Vettel. As for Mercedes, loved the racing till the end, but they are in another league - their advantage is even greater than what Red Bull had - similar to Brawn. By the time the other teams catch-up, it will be too late.

I think, after seeing the program, more people may come forward to tell of their experience. There may well then be a follow-up program. Also, Carte Blanche normally hands over their findings to the relevant parties, i.e. SAPS, SARS, etc. who will then do their own further investigations. I am sure there is still much more to come.

The sentence could have been structured differently, but, in my opinion, based on this thread, when I read that sentence, I assumed the friend also only found out it was a fake after he had purchased the bike.

Agree. I trust my LBS as well. I am rather referring to new customers who do not have a personal relationship with the bike shop. They may not trust the bike shop after reading a thread like this (if they are in the market for a frame that is easily copied). Edit: Spelling

The repercussions of Cycle Science's actions is that bike shops doing honest business will start to be questioned as well. I would not be happy if I was a honest bike shop. Edit: Spelling

Agree. Similar to the Red Bull era. Mercedes (just like the Red Bull in the prior years) have a clear advantage. Once out front with a comfortable margin the race basically stops (for the front runners - real action at the back of the field) and we have fuel saving, tyre management, turning engine 'down', etc. Boring! I want to see them racing each other until the end, not 'managing' the race. (Hamilton today was just like Vettel last year!) Hopefully Red Bull (read Renault) can catch up (and Mclaren and Ferrari, but I think Red Bull have a better chance) and we see some racing! Hamilton vs Vettel wheel to wheel is what I want to see.
