  1. Just recently bought from them and selected PO for delivery. Took about 1 month, but arrived.
  2. BOA have excellent service. A month or so ago I completed the warranty claim for new dials. Got immediate response, items shipped with DHL, delivered 3 working days later!
  3. My Garmin always shows lower elevation when cloudy and raining. Guess it has an impact on the signal.
  4. Yeah, it is safe. I have done it a couple of times. Biggest concern is just traffic as most of the descent towards Mossel Bay does not have a shoulder and the road is quite narrow (shoulder only starts a few kms outside Brandwag). Suggest doing this early in the morning.
  5. Likely just OEM. Can't recall the last time I received a cassette in its 'original' packaging when ordering from overseas. Chains also usually in just a plastic bag. Never an issue as I dump the packaging straight after installation.

  7. Via Devon Valley, past JC Le Roux?
  8. My jersey finally arrived! Took a while as I opted for ordinary post with no tracking. Looks good, quality on par with most of my other jerseys. I paid R 230 including shipping + R 33 for customs. Ridiculous value for money. Will order again.
  9. Same issue here. However, what worked was changing member class to say scholar (or anything else) in the drop-down list and then changing back to main member. This reset it and the R100 payable appeared for renewal.
  10. I placed an order and paid as well. Waiting for the item to arrive. Fingers crossed it is the same as advertised. Will report back once the item arrives.
  11. Nice. Price on the standard tension cleats only?
  12. Thanks for the input! Casual ride, but will most likely get a PB through Woodstock
  13. I am keen on riding the route this weekend, but what roads are you guys planning to ride to get from the Castle to Steenberg? Same as the Argus, N2 then M3? Surely not through Woodstock given the recent incidents? Or N2 then other roads skipping the M3 only? Any info will be appreciated.
  14. +1 Highly recommended.
  15. Not that fast - quite a bit of rolling resistance, otherwise awesome tyres. Been looking around at a replacement set (faster on the road) once these are worn. Think Panaracer GravelKing SK will be great. For a lot of road use, I think the WTB Byways would be brilliant!
  16. 2017 Giant TCX SLR 2, bought 2nd-hand on the hub. Replaced the drivetrain with SRAM Apex 1 x 11 (mechanical - kept the TRP disk brakes). I run 42t upfront with a 11-42 cassette (Sunrace) at the back. Changed the handlebars to Easton EA70AX. Upgraded to Rapide TR29 wheelset with WTB Resolute (700 x 42c) tires. Great on-road and off-road.
  17. That and one cannot validate your safety score either: "This portlet is unavailable"
  18. Yeah, cover points not reflecting. Sent them an email this weekend, with reply below: "We are receiving data/files from other product houses in batches and points will be allocated accordingly. The points will be allocated or reflect on your profile by the third weekend of February 2020. We sincerely apologise for the inconvenience caused by the delayed process." So will have to wait until late February for cover points to be loaded.
  19. Yeah, same here. 6+min of steps, push-ups and handgrip. The latter strength tests dropped my fitness level and subsequent product discounts (now need more active days)! . Quite annoying - roadie with ‘poor’ strength.
  20. On the fence the moment about taking my gravel/CX bike or the road bike. I have more control on the former with flared bars plus disc brakes, but it is slower.
  21. Just received my Rapide TR29-25 SL Wheelset! EDIT: An absolute steal for the price! Front wheel weight (incl. rim tape and valve) - 825g Rear wheel weight (incl. rim tape and valve) - 960g
  22. Yes, replaced a couple. Quick and easy. Bought mine at Specialized, just match the model number. But yes, as above, any shop stocking Boa shoes be able to source them.
  23. I willing be going for these soon (available locally): WTB Resolute 700 x 42c
