  1. Thanks so much for this post. Very glad to hear about great results on LCHF.
  2. Really looking forward to the videos.
  3. We did a little shopping today. Bought a few necessities: floor pump, multi-tool, front and rear visibility lights. aaaaannnnddd a fatbike for the wife, and my first pair of clipless shoes (Shimano MT44).
  4. Hi everyone I've been here since October, but never introduced myself. I was a bicycle kid until my bike got stolen at university, I then got a car and sorta forgot about cycling. Last year I started on the LCHF diet and suddenly had an urge to cycle, so I bought myself a second-hand MTB, which was 'stolen' by the wife shortly after. I then bought myself another MTB. We are weekend warriors and really enjoy cycling together.
  5. After reading through this entire thread I am feeling very inspired to fix up an oldie. I quite like the idea of a Bianchi. Realistically, what would it cost to purchase and fix up a Bianchi. I know that's like asking how long is a piece of string, but I don't want to be caught out spending waaayyy to much money on such a project. I realise that fixing up an oldie is a project of passion, but one must keep the cost in mind. How difficult is a frame to source, and how difficult are parts to source? What is the general feeling here; should the bike remain as true to the original? Sorry if these questions seem dumb, I'm very new at this.
  6. I really love Almond butter and would like to take it on a ride. Anyone come up with a great way of doing this yet? I know that ButtaNut has sachets, but I pick up weight for some reason when I eat ButtaNut.

  8. Search for LCHF cycling on Facebook
  9. Christmas gift from me to me. I drink a lot of water when I ride, and I always seem to have a lot of stuff I wanna take with. This solves both problems.
  10. I use MyFitnessPal. I go into strict periods where I log everything - what an eye-opener! But normally I just use it to track weight.
  11. Here are my boys. Rommel is the Harlequin, and Nuisance is the Merle.
  12. The Woolies meals are also very high in carbs, compared to what we normally eat for dinner, but I guess they are good if you are in a hurry. They also contain things like corn starch in some cases.
