  1. Thanks for the vids Nige!
  2. Will be adding the DH to my enduro entry when I enter this evening! Looks like a LOAD of fun!
  3. If you have a gopro some footage of the stages would be nice for us JHB guys
  4. Says the guy who bought me dinner the other night... Edit: there wasn't even live music or candles, what's up with that!
  5. Hahaha! I was expecting you to ask me that on Saturday! I had to change my flights to this coming weekend.
  6. Well that just made the boys weekend awkward!
  7. Did anyone take photo's of any new features that they can post here?
  8. My favorite part of Giba at the moment
  9. Drop off line at the top of stage two?
  10. I hope we are all0owe to ride the service road up to gravity
  11. ALOT of hard work goes into it! If anyone reading this thread is keen on trying to arrange enduro events I would say you should get in touch with Mark Sydney and Nigel Hicks, I am sure they have a wealth of knowledge and would be very keen to share. Even though I said what I did in my last message, I live in jhb and rather drive to Kzn for the events rather than organise one
  12. Kzn is just lucky to have guys putting in the hard work to make it happen. If Capetown doesn't have guys like that there is nothing stopping you from becoming that guy. :thumb up:
  13. +1 You will never enjoy flats if you don't ride with them for quite a bit of time! I say a decent set of flats and shoes + two weeks riding almost everyday (short fun rides), then decide.
  14. Didn't see it say anything about the photo having to be taken by a go pro... Edit: my bad, read your comment wrong
  15. I am going to take a full face with this time incase I decide to do the DH but will decide over that weekend
  16. Who is in for round two? http://www.roag.co.za/enter-an-event/mtb/kznmtb-provincial-2-xco--dhi--enduro.aspx
  17. As long as you don't see your hide! I can wait until Wednesday night
  18. patiently awaiting the rest of the build....
  19. you really shouldn't use dogs to dab on while cornering, their owners don't like it.
  20. It's not the size that counts, its how you use it.
  21. We could call it a 24 hour Enduro
  22. Where can you get them from? I was under the impression I wouldnt be able to get another locally?
  23. I ended up with both the Super and the Stoker. Holding the two next to each other you can tell the Super costs more and it just looks as if Bell put more effort into the Super. The stoker does have less vents and less padding than the Super. That being said, I did not notice any difference in "coolness" between the Super and the stoker. The Super if more comfy and has more "bells and whistles" than the stoker. Even tho the Super is more comfy, the stoker is still a comfortable lid, easy to get the straps and fit just right. I only had one ride with my Stoker before I cracked my pip on some rubble and even tho the helmet is a write off I can say that it is definately a strong and safe lid as well! If I had head butted the ground with my previous Bell Sequence the lid would not just have a crack, the lid would be in pieces! To sum it all up, if I had to choose between the two lids and pay retail for them (Super R2300,00 vs. Stoker R1100,00) I would go for the Stoker in a heart beat!
