  1. In my defence, two of the three lids were replaced due to issues with the lids and only the third one is due for a crash replacement after the Giba enduro almost two weeks ago. I will be using my full face lid until I can warranty my Super on payday, I might just keep using the full face when I have a new AM lid tho
  2. I had the same thing on all three of my Super's I have had this year, I found the little bits of velcro that hold the padding in also dont stay where they should for very long... I have given up on the helmet mount on the Super, poor form for something they list as a feature!
  3. Perviously I had the opinion that a decent 150-160mm travel single crown bike was sufficient for DH in SA. Thanks to the new top section at Thaba, my opinion has changed...
  4. What size is the frame?
  5. There goes that colour scheme off the top of my list...
  6. All I took from your post is that you have a Jekyll and you have not posted any pictures in the "Your enduro ride" thread...
  7. When spending R2000,00+ on a helmet, some sort of crash replacement warranty is important. This coming from ssomeone that is on their third Bell Super which also has a crack after this weekend... This might make you think that the Super breaks easily, I don't think this is the case though... The Super is the most comfortable lid I have tried on, it does seem as if the adhesive Bell uses to glue the velcro bits in the helmet for padding is not good enough As I have had an issue with this in all three Super's I have had.
  8. Totally agree with Nicko, a second Giba enduro towards the end of the year would be awesome!
  9. Nope, head planted right at the begining and kept going, slowly but still kept going...
  10. I also have ROMO because I only did the stages once each on Saturday
  11. Awesome event! On my way back to jhb this a.m. and already having with dawns from two days of awesome Kzn trails! Well done to all responsible for making Saturday happen. Sweet day on the bike!
  12. This looks like Bat outta hell in Karkloof
  13. Most importantly, if there is someone faster behind you let them pass as soon as you are able to do so but don't go off "Great fall my china" just to let someone get past. If we all just have bit of courtesy for the riders around us we should all be happy and have an awesome day on the bike.
  14. Pretty keen! Do you have a link for the event you can share?
  15. We should make it that stage 6 is timed after each of stages 1 -5...
  16. Just to confirm the order of the stages for interest sake, Stage 1 - Blue trail in reverse. Stage 2 - Great fall my china? Stage 3 - ? Stage 4 - Pallet drop to sevice road. Stage 5 - Free ride/Fish & chips.
  17. I changed brake pads on my car a few months back, cost me R240,00 and some of my time to fit the pads. I changed brake pads on my mountain bike this week, cost me R265,00 per wheel and some of my tears while fitting the pads.
  18. Hey dude, will this stage be open for a practice run or two on the Friday or only on race day?
  19. Sensor comes in carbon and aluminium. I do like burley, I also like having a room with a few bikes to choose from depending on my mood and each with their own personality
  20. I have seen the vid in my quote above, same vid? I do prefer the look of the 2015 Sanction but for our trails in SA the Sensor with a 140mm pike or maybe even a 150mm pike up front would be a killer race machine!
  21. These guys do a good job of selling the Sensor to me! As they mention, Pike up front and 1x...
  22. Sounds like a MACHINE!!! http://enduromtb.tv/en/gt-sanction-2015-dan-atherton-bike-check/
  23. I think Nige is away on holiday, I recall reading that entries are limited to 200.
