  1. Thanks Paul.Makes sence
  2. How is uncle Surfer doing in your repaired marriage ?
  3. They are legit but one of the reasons for all the strife in our marriage as we could not afford the costs involved with his sport and competition's all over the world that she insisted was part sponsored but turns out very little.
  4. Struggeling from day to day. Just waiting for court date now. Wife is asking more money for Son's extra mural trips to competitions that was not mentioned at mediation so now we are fighting again. Eish , Divorce is not for the faint at heart.
  5. Was doing pretty well and then last night all of a sardine I dreamt about my old life and wife. I never normally dream but today feeling a bit down. Probably takes time for these episode's to lessen. Even a tough guy can be humbled by the heart I thought I had a tight reign on. Onward and upward though.
  6. Thanks Moridin I definitely will not go that route, have too much good going for me and hope for a better life and someone new eventually if that is in my maker's plan. Just the getting into a routine is hard - I think I need a new job where I don't spend so much after hours of late and weekends at work. Hardly have time for chores and shopping.
  7. Hoopala 3h23 - happy (ish)
  8. Sounds like a plan. Sent from my SM-G930F using Tapatalk
  9. Any ladies willing to trade a good meal for some ironing. ???? Edit: Never mind, ex took the iron and plank - said I didn't have a licence to use it anyways ☺
  10. My braai-place at home still has ash in it from early December - all this stress has resulted in a very lonely fireplace
  11. Funny. ???? Actually can cook quite well but just not motivated as I am only cooking for 1.I used to be called Jamie Oliver by my mates who ate my cooking. Sent from my SM-G930F using Tapatalk
  12. Couple things that have changed already: I Get to bed late every night, first cycle or gym, then make supper and then dishes or washing, then pay the bills online or sometimes go out with mates. Shopping takes ages as I don't make a list, just wing it by walking up each isle until I see something I think I need and then get a fright at the cashier. Place is getting a bit untidy as my brain is still duurmekaar so I put things down all over the place - normally I am more organised - sure that will return in time. Cooking thus far I am very lazy and make quick rubbish most nights but at least once a week I cook veggies an meat or a curry and then bum a meal at the folk's one night also. Lot's to train myself with an try organize a routine.
  13. She finally accepted my proposed Maintenance offer just to be done with me and I think to get hold of my pension so she can clear her debt and pay her family back also. Another bump out of the way - whew. Thanks guys for the brilliant posts above - nice to have Mates I don't even know
  14. Just had a meal and a chat with a mate that I looked up again after many years as he has been through a similar situation. Him having a theology degree and many years in ministry shed a lot of light on how I am feeling and how to move on without dwelling in what's done. Man I needed that, now looking forward to my next chapter and no more self pity and analyzing what is done. Feeling on a high right now. Thanks all.
  15. Wonder for how many years it may have been then ! Sent from my SM-G930F using Tapatalk
  16. I agree - would have way preferred that she left before trying out a new model - it is hurting like hell now - feel insecure and what I did to deserve such treatment. Eish - going to be a long night - had a couple hours with my daughter at least to brighten the day.
  17. One of my buddies that I have not seen in ages popped in just now just because he was in the area and saw my empty-ish house and realized what happened. Then decides to tell me his wife had chatted to my wife and new of the infidelity some time ago already. Why would a mate not share that sort of thing at the time I am wondering ? I Didn't ask him but it hurts that other people knew before me .
  18. I guess my reply further up was a bit harsh as I was feeling a bit low and hurt when finding out that my wife had strayed. I realize she was just looking for what I could not give her due to all the issues we had between us that made me pull back my true feelings for her. Anyway, just came back from moving her and my son into their rented flat and now my heart is racing and the tears keep coming even though I try to fight them. Half empty house with so many gaps where appliances and furniture used to stand. Was hard to wave good-buy and I know the road is still going to be very painful ahead.
  19. From my view it is definitely someones fault when one partner decides to stray, no matter who;s fault it is. For me that is a low blow. Finish and klaar.
  20. Shot. Will try and get a quote Sent from my SM-G930F using Tapatalk
  21. Just came from final session with Mediator now. Bit more clarity on expences but had to revise a few things. I now will have another Lawyer go over calculations and the actual contract. Do Lawyers offer that service just to go over someone else's work and give advice if they were not involved from the start ? Sent from my SM-G930F using Tapatalk
  22. I agree. I made a big mess of my marriage and I am now sorry but too late. Feel sorry for what it is doing to my son. Sent from my SM-G930F using Tapatalk
  23. Yes. That is in the plan Sent from my SM-G930F using Tapatalk
  24. Thanks guy's. Good advice. I think it is reasonable and I can afford it. Sent from my SM-G930F using Tapatalk
  25. That is only for him but my wife was the one who said how much he costs her. Hence I asked if the % seemed right or not Sent from my SM-G930F using Tapatalk
