Event Name: Boland Cycling League #4 When: 8 February 2014 Where: Stellenbosch, Western Cape Category: Road Kermesse-style racing Catering for all types and ages, these races are an extension of the successful Lights by Linea series races, held at Polkadraai last year, with the aim of offering affordable, safe fast races, for all riders interested in gaining an edge racing / training at speed. Once these races are ran, during March, the local calendar will include longer races, such as the Tour de Boland, and the Monument Challenge. Costs for this series: R100.00 per race, for riders over 16 years of age, and; R50.00 for rider younger than 16 On-the-day entries, and last-week before a race entries will be charged at a 50% higher rate. Race numbers will be provided, and must be kept for the whole series. Frame numbers with an embedded chip must be bought on day of first race for a cost of R50.00 UNLESS already in possession of one from About2Time. Prizes to be awarded to top 3 in all ages, at end of series.   7. the timing company is sifting through several gazillion images, manually, due to the numbers either having been washed off, or printed too small. as results become available, we'll post, till such time, we'll return entrants' fees to them, as it is the only restitution a flopped event can offer. please ask for your money back.

Ons sal jou (op versoek) dan opstoot na enige vd afstande wat jy eerder sou wou ry, soos die medium of selfs die lange. Of jy ry net die korte As dinge nie mooi werk met die inskrywing, soos soms te wagte is, nie, dan sal ons tech-ouens dit uitsort, en dan sal ons jou laat weet wanneer dit hopelik reg is. Kyk ook na www.heritagefestival.co.za THE IMPORTANT BITS ARE BELOW: http://www.stellenboschcycling.co.za/images/heritage.jpg The start (and finish) of all three rides are in front of the Moederkerk (Dutch Reformed Church) in Drostdy Street, Stellenbosch All three routes will wind through the Universiteitsoord, Ida's Valley, Dwarsrivier, Simondium, Klapmuts and back to Stellenbosch, just missing Cloetesville and Welgevonden, with the medium and long travelling past Kayamandi, Kuilsrivier and Polkadraai.....the final loop, saved for the longest ride of the day, will go past Spier, Faure, Raitby and Jamestown, to get home after 115 km. 45km – this, the shortest road ride of the day will cost R100.00 per entrant - the short route will go home once it reached the intersection of Bird / R44. - it commences at 06h00 75km – medium route at R150.00 will commence at 07h00. 115km – at R200.00 the most expensive, but also longest - commencing at 08h00 - we'll wait till you return. We'll update the website with much more details as the event gets closer (read: next week). Oh, and we'll mail you a (pdf) entry confirmation, so make sure your email address is right.
