  6. Slightly incorrect.... At present it is only Hanco, Rupert, Juan and Michael Sowerby with contracts. The team will be known as Harmony/Schwinn. The team and accompanying club (and other teams') launch is in a week's time - a website for the team will be launched before year-end. Carinus

  8. why do you not create a ride for the elites this weekend, francois, same course as outoppies, etc? (too many issues to deal with perhaps? do u need additional money for marshalls, traffic, etc?)

  11. As you know, Lill rides for Schwinn at present. In the very near future, he would actually ride for the new Harmony / Schwinn Pro Team that would also include two females (for the remainder of 2006). Commencing 2007, a group of 15 cyclists will make up the Harmony/Schwinn Pro Team. For more information, pse contact carinus@gmail.com directly.

    we do it - in test mode at present - with sportstrack.... will let you all know when it becomes available in beta-format... [basically just active rfid tags that indicate their location via sat/gsm]

REMUNERATION: R300 000 ? R400 00 (depending on experience)The successful candidate will have a proven record of success in business, will be people-friendly and organised, willing to travel around the country, able to hold meetings, keep notes and attend Board meetings and report. An interest in sport, especially cycling, is an advantage. Responsibilities include: ? Assisting with transformation ? Overseeing and monitoring the establishment of new events including mass participation events and others? Assisting with commercial aspects (including sponsors, television and the printed media) of existing and new events ? Overseeing and monitoring the roll-out of development plans of CSA including identifying new talent; developing new coaches; setting up selection structures and training of officials? Conducting audits of the sport from time to time? Setting up publicity and PR structures? Assisting with the CSA website? Assisting the Board in development of business plans and budgets? Liaising with Affiliates in regard to all of the above matters(working together with CSA's General Manager to ensure a seamless delivery to cyclists)?
