Event Name: Eikestad Erfenistrap / Heritage Pedal When: 24 September 2013 Where: Stellenbosch, Western Cape Category: Road We offer three road rides, covering most of the Greater Stellenbosch, such as Ida's Valley, (Helshoogte) Klapmuts, Kayamandi, Vlottenberg, Lynedoch and Raithby. Entrants may apply online at www.stellenboschcycling.co.za and select either a 45, a 75, or a 115km option. All routes to commence and end in front of the Moederkerk in Drostdy Street, between 06:00 and 08:00. Detailed maps to be published online this week. All riders will have the option of securing their bicycles in a safe location, after their ride, and joining the Heritage festivities along the river.   22. Lobbying, representation, mostly on NMT matters. I sit on the Stellenbosch and Cape Town non-motorised transport fora, and it is amazing what can be done with a little bit of involvement...pity we do not have a bob, or bodies, that take care of such matters. If any of you out would like me to come chat with your municipalities, I am happy to do so. Stellenbosch now has an MTB forum, as well as a cycling vision for next two decades.
