  2. Thanks for the advice re Dewalt. I haven't but it yet so in light of what you guys have said I might go for a Makita instead.
  3. I cant see that in the Gazetted rules?
  4. I used to run up there years ago. Just jumped the farmers fence and tried to look like I belonged. But as far as I know it was not open to the public even pre Covid. It is faaaarking steep
  5. Well there are no bergies sleeping under the bridge so it's not SA.
  6. To add though. The jeep tracks were so steep I was walking not riding.
  7. I've ridden some stuff at 4000m in the Himalayas. Didn't find the riding especially bad but definitely noticed the altitude while lying in bed at night. Just couldn't get a comfortable breathing rythm so struggled to sleep.
  8. I've decided on this one https://www.builders.co.za/Tools-%26-Protective-Wear/Power-Tools/Drills/Industrial-Drills/Dewalt-Hammer-Drill-and-2-x-Battery-Brushless-(5-0Ah)-(18V)/p/000000000000633847?gclid=EAIaIQobChMI8OqOjYfU6QIVR7TtCh0DgwnsEAQYASABEgLCzPD_BwE
  9. every time I go to the bank I feel the need to drink alcohol. Although Savanah wouldn't be strong enough.
  10. There's always time. We all make our own excuses not to do awesome stuff. I'm going to do this. I'll sell a kidney. Or a child. If I have to.
  11. and you can add this one to your watch list. This has just gone to the top of my list of 'must do's'.
  12. ag noooooiiiit china. I had (almost) deleted that from my memory. Now it's back again.

  14. Hey Thermophage look - a bermed corner...
  15. nobody knows until the president's boss tells us what's going on
  16. Thanks. Was leaning towards the Makita, but also really like the DeWalt...because its yellow. Not a Ryobi fan. Sorry madbradd
  17. wait till they start selling 29'er specific masks
  18. Not only for woodworking but general handyman use - what is the best cordless drill around? Makita, DeWalt, ??? Doesn't have to be a hammer drill.
  19. I just find it is too 'flexible'. When you're sucking big air you suck the thing into you mouth. It gets worse when it gets wet.
  20. So seeing as this fekking mask wearing shite is going to be with us for a while, have you lot decided which is the best type for heavy exercise? Buffs are no good.
  21. How do you prevent sucking the buff into your mouth when you're taking deep breaths? Especially when it is soaked from sweat.
  22. Did my usual neighbourhood jaunt this morning. One difference though. About 95% mask wearing compared to 60% last week. Same neighbourhoods so not sure what has changed.
