  1. I've seen one today at Ride Life in George, flippen awesome bike. Nice golden color with eagle 1x12. But no remote lockout for rear shock is disappointing to say the least.
  2. Has anyone seen the pics of the new F850 Rallye BMW? Awesome verby, but at R199950.00 it's a bit silly priced.
  3. I owned a Dakar, I'm not or haven't been the best motorbike rider at all, but my friend with his KTM 640 really had to push the (his capabilities with regarding to riding the KTM to it's full potential) limits when we went riding together. The engine is very good, bullet proof is a good word to use. It's also the exact same engine the Bombardier DS 650 quads used and they're known for doing very well in enduro races.
  4. Jy is braaf om so met 1 hand te ry en fotos neem op so klipperige pad. Ek sien die wind het lekker gewaai met daardie dam se brandertjies.
  5. You know when it's Friday.
  6. Just a reminder that we have 2 ablution facilities available, one is at the race finish and the other one is as one comes down the last downhill into the park down the 2 spoor cement road and turning left before the wooden houses it's immediately on your left. So one passes between the 1st ablution and the wooden houses. Good luck to all the participants. Keep the rubber on the gravel.
  7. Weather here is warm and humid, hope for you people for some cooler weather on race day. If it stays like this it's going to be a dusty, sunny and warm day. Remember that you can sleep over in a tent or caravan as we have lots of camping sites available at R200 for 2 people and R80/additional person per site. We still have one 6 sleeper Plettenberg home available that's fully equipped for 6 people. 2 x double beds and one bunker bed at R800/night for a minimum of 2 nights. For availability phone the Pine Creek office during office hours at 0446202434. Pine Creek Caravan Park, Groot Brak Rivier, start of mini Attakwas and finish area of both the mini and extreme Attakwas.
  8. I was way too lazy to do a proper ride, so me and my youngest went for a short ride.
  9. And then we visit Europe and other countries, but like you say, we haven't even seen the whole of South Africa. Crazy nê. I'd much rather spend the amount of money to see our country.
  10. Then she will be standing on the bike hanging mysteriously from the wall without a wall mount and her hair must have some gel in to stand upright like that.
  11. Weird looking rear triangle.
  12. Don't you have a SA motorcycle license or is this your first motorcycle license hence the reason for doing the test?
  13. Bike stand?
  14. Weird but nice handlebar stem, first time I've seen something like this.

I was just referring to the build quality of the Mercs, saved my life. Here is proof of the one I was driving, had a little fender bender on the N1 between Kroonstad and Johannesburg, (my dad's car) back in 1996, versus the lower/cheaper quality cars.
