    There is plenty oomph in the Duke. Nippy and fast. I want to do some more riding on gravel roads, and touring. I get between 25-30km/l. Depends on how hard I am riding. Love my Duke. One of the best commuters.

    So when my wife saw the pics of last years race and how rainy and cold it was, she said no chance in hell she is going to stay in a tent.. So I had to cancel the tent options. ( ok, I didn't tell her how cold it gets up there ) I then took Paddamans advise and book a double room at Amphitheatre Backpackers. It looks pretty amazing there. So wifey is happy means I am happy..

    Hi Edgar, Yes I did. So hopefully I will hear from them soon. I was such an Idiot. Wanted to enter earlier, but work and life and comrades training took all my time and just slipped my mind completely.

    Thanks Steven. I also love the look of the 800xc. And actually not to expensive compare to the KTM and BMW

    In Afrikaans there's a saying that goes " My gat Juk vir 'n nuwe Bike". That's exactly how I feel. The Duke 390, Is ok, but I want more Power, and want to do some Mozambique trips. Does anyone ride a Triump 800xc or a BMW 7OO GS. I Looked at the KTM, but just to damn expensive.

    Agree. I rather drive from my house to Kaapschehoop, run 20-35km there and have a lekker lunch and craft beer for less than R500

    Went down with a cold/flu since Friday. Will see how I feel tomorrow, maybe a slow run. My whole house has got the sniffles... Think its the turn of the season, maybe.
