  1. in 1998/99 we had the george 24HR race. It was awesome smack in the middle of winter next to the dam with 6km of the 9km lap being singletrack. remeber we used about 8km of candy tape to mark the course
  2. Oke just drilled the heads of and removed the rest of the screw with a normal set of plyers. . alot easier than I thought it will be. . took 5min

  7. Not that light unforunately since I am running heavy wheels. . mavic cross rides. and normal steel bead tires with tubes. pedals are on the heavy side (410 grams a pair) compared to egg beaters
  8. want to save the mounting plate and these bolts are freaken hard. any other Ideas?
  9. How would you guys remove shimano cleats that the bolts has seized into the mounting plate on MTB shoes? Bolts are stripped. . .

  12. Weaker? back inthe the day when they twisted spokes it apparantly made the wheel stronger. But like you said JB will know the answer.One thing I don know is He will have something to say about the angle the spoke goes into the rim. I thing the Idea behind the twisted spokes were so that they don't move when the wheel flex. . some people tie the spokes together where they cross as well. . . thats what ive seen and heard

  22. one of the reasons the topic was posted is due to that there is no diffrence (in the scott bike at least) between the mens and ladies. This makes one wonder how much diffrence there realy are in the WS designs. Or is it more cosmetic in the end of the day? I can agree thatsmoe shorts gloves and shoes might be diffrent, but how much diffrent in the end of the day?

  24. thats what got the post started, but I saw that treks wsd bikes have a range of smaller bikes, Their large is a normal small however. . so for the taller woman out there this presents a problem
