  11. decide on the type of riding you will be doing, then make sure whichever one you get - get the right size and have it properly set up!!!
  12. Test drove the Zaskar, did not like the geometry - very relaxed. Also did not like the fork, prefer the specs on the Scott
  13. Have a look at the scott aspect 910, rand for rand very good components compared to other brands
  14. Loads of bad reviews on these wheels, however I have a Spark 950 and have had no issues with the wheels what so ever. I did upgrade after a year to stans rims, purely because I wanted sealed bearing hubs and got a techno lime green set of superstars on the hub that matched the color of the rest of the bike. The only negatives i really experienced was that a ghetto tubeless conversion with insulation tape was very difficult on the Syncros rims due to the deep dish, I had to go buy stans tape which worked like a charm! The wheels are also not the lightest, if you can afford the upgrade - go for it allthough not a necessity it is money well spent!
  15. Hi, I have a Scott Spark - pity you so far away, would have gladly donated my bike for a fitting!

  21. 29er dual sus, make sure of the size - it is the most important.
  22. Why do you need centre lock converters if you are buying discs? Just buy the correct disks - or am I wrong? Check www.buycycle.co.za I bought very nice disks there for R 149 each last month. As far as I know you can use any discs with any brakes, just make sure you use the correct pads - some discks only work with resin pads.
  23. no prob
  24. I have a similar stand that you can have for free if you collecct, I am in Centurion aswell
  25. With that budget why not build yourself a Pyga?
