  1. OK, I found a chart with pressure to rider weight on the fork, but cannot seem to find something similar on the shock?
  2. Hi There, I have a fox float rl fork and a DT swiss m210 rear shock. How do I know which pressures to operate them at? Also my rear shock has a remote lock out, but does not seem to lock. If I press the lock out switch I seem to have the same travel with the same amount of effort as in unlock mode. Is it supposed to be stiff like when you lock out the fork? Thank you
  3. Yes there was a bit of confusion at the start, but enjoyed the race and it was for a good cause. Was quite tough, will do it again!

  10. Hi Guys, My dt swiss rear shock is squeeking like nobody's business!!! At the last trailseeker guys wanted to beat the sh*t outta me for causing such a raquet. Later on I was telling evryone it was my knee making the noise when I got the stare/glare. No seriously, how do I sort this out? Dont want to just spray anything on it that could cause damage to the seal or something? Thanks

  15. Give that man a spyker bomb!
  16. This happened to me my very first ride at Groenkloof, the oke came flying up behind me on the ST, I apologised and said I would pull over as soon as there was a gap, he politely replied that the rider in front has right of way and that he will pass me as soon as there is a gap to do so. Nice!
  17. Three guys finished the race because of my coffin sized saddle bag - two guys got a free bomb and the third a brand new tube with slime!!! So next time, instead of dissing the oke, hope he is nearby when you need help - and the day will come!

  20. You hate taxi drivers, yet you suggest that one should rides ones MTB like a taxi driver?
  21. isn't a bottle neck a little like a traffic jam? Some people wait their turn and others drive their taxis in the emergency lane?!
  22. Thanks G-Unit
  23. I did the 40km trailseeker yesterday and have seen and heard all the complaints. So why not give a few pointers as to how things should be done. This was my first 40km and only my second race as I started cycling about four months ago. I finished the event in just under three hours, but had to push/walk a few times! My question is, whenever I got off to push / walk or take a break, I made sure I stopped as far left as I could and not hinder any cyclists behind me. I assume the keep left pass right rule apply here as well? When re joining the race again I would check behind me and wait for a gap before resuming, trying to get on the bike and in the pedals as quickly as possible! But what is the right way to go about all this? Instead of moaning, why not educate us, the less experienced riders. By the sound of things some guys never had a first race, they started as semi - pro's with a hundred races under the belt and never got in the way of anyone? Any help will be appreciated
