    Having the 30km fun riders join the marathon at 50 km was an absolute disaster, front of A group amongst the back markers of the 30 km made for some unnecessarily hectic crashes for both parties. Stupid oversight from the organizers that ended the day in a bad way for many paying customers .

    Got this one a week ago , I think I was more excited to ride the Supacaz bar tape than the actual bike but after this morning both were very impressive . I also had some custom decals done in white to break the yellow a bit .

    Very average event , lots of riding on grass and little to no variation in trails for the second day . It's a pity , you would think there would be some lekker riding out that way .

    Yes , the 54km . One of the better events in JHB that's for sure .

    ]Yeah, compare that to a mountain bike (s-works) model, it seems quite excessive. Minus ~R20k for the groupset as mentioned in another post. That's basically R120k for frame and carbon wheels. The CWC special is an upgrade kit only , Sifters and front and rear derailer .

    This two stage thing doesn't work for 90% of the families I know , until they change it back I'll skip the series entirely. Sitting in traffic two days in a row at the same venue to get in and then out agin doesn't appeal to anyone I know .

    Fantastic to see what a positive influence he has been to the other pro's over time , to make fun of yourself rather than others is a lesson we can all learn from him.

    Somehow they always mange to make their bike look cheap , I'm sure it rides a little better than it looks .

    Slow slow spin around the complex , I'm still sporting a broken ankle after W2W but even a 200 meter pedal makes me smile .

    At their year end sales they give 30% away , so it just shows how big the profit margins are ! 70 k ! you must be on crack for a XT bike

    Nice event this morning you and the club put on a top class event . It's good to see so much support from the local cycling community . Your entries must have tripled compared to last time ?

    The weather is fine down here but the event is really small in relation to the JHB events we do every other weekend . I'm sure the trails will more than make up for it though .
