  1. Thanks.
  2. Hi guys, is FSA still being represented in the country? If so, who are the agents?
  3. I carry both, bombs and a mini pump. Bombs only for emergency ,pump rest of the time.
  4. These are available locally i am told. http://www.orpland.com/
  5. Scum! I see now why some of my cycling buddies carry firearms and are trained to use them.
  6. Muccoff supply a small UV light with there one dry lube, so that you can see how much you apply etc. I have tried engine oil out of desperation on a holiday trip. It picks up a lot of sand and grime.
  7. Was looking forward to it till i had a clash of exam dates.
  8. I think RavX makes with a 10degree rise.
  9. When i first saw it, i thought "oh great, repackaged squirt". Then i had a chat with Ruaan, the owner/producer of it. He gave a long explanation on how he developed it and over a few years, he finally had a product he was happy with. I was still skeptical till i tested it out. Great in dry conditions, it applies very nicely and for a dry lube it works surprisingly well in muddy conditions .I used it at the Tygervalley MTB 70KM which was really muddy and it worked well, even after being submerged completely in the first 15km at the river crossing. Have used it on the roadbike too with great results. It must be applied the night before for best results, i tried 5 minutes before a ride and didnt work too well.Great local product and would recommend it as well.
  10. A friend of mine went through the same recently, he weighs around 85KG but still chose the ArchEX, the few grams difference in weight should be worth the extra strength?
  11. I did the 70k route for the first time, great organising and well marked route, the river crossing 15 kilos in turned out to be waist deep, very very muddy overall. I impressed with the lube i used, smoove, for a wax based lube it did incredibly well in such wet conditions. The mud really changed the dynamics of the race. My main gripe was number collection at Bruces, tiny cramped area, they shifted the tables twice while i was there, the ASG events ladies were also complaining. All in all im happy though, had a blast.
  12. Same here, i ride with the perrenial enduro ,i find them very comfy .I saw some merrels i may try soon.
  13. Aha yes i should have added that I did have to redo one as the insulation tape did lose its stickiness, the one wheel held out for around a year before,i ended up changing wheelsets.
  14. Previously i used insulation tape only with valves to change to tubeless. I also like the current yellow tape option.
