I am not sure how it works with other brands of bikes, with specialized if you can get the serial number of the bike, (WSBC#########) you can contact any specialized dealer and they would be able to look the serial number up and give you the year model and exact spec the bike was originally produced with, they may even be able to give you the SKU/Part number of the bike and you might even be able to look the bike up in the archives on specialized.com. Im sure the other bike brands would be able to help in a similar manner.

Hi Hi I would not take on a wheel build project your self, it is rather technical and not an easy task, have to get spoke length, lace pattern and spoke tension correct or you will land up with a pretzel for a wheel, if you are gauteng based, I am happy to build the wheel for you. This looks like a decent hub, and so long as the axle spacing matches your frame and the spoke hole count on the hub matches your current rim you should be good to go. You also need to be sure that your current cassette will fit onto the new hub, on mountain bikes there is currently 3 different freewheel body standards, this hub looks like it has a "9 spline shimano" style free wheel body. So it can only take shimano cassettes up to 11 speed, sram cassettes up to 10 speed and 12 speed you can run a Sram NX cassette.   10. This Insert you could probably find at a nut and bolt shop, if you are in JHB i would recommend going to JKM in Randburg with a sample, the would probably have a few different varieties, they have bailed me out many a time with strange fastener solutions on my mx bikes, cars and bicycles

  12. Hi Man, you wont be able to change the wheel circumference on mission control, you'll have to pop into your local spec retailer and have them do it for you on turbo studio. However, don't make the values less than 2000 other wise it strains the motor too much and voids warranty on it. they come set from factory at 2300, we always set them down to 2000.   13. Howzit man, I doubt that you will find this part lose. It is a common issue on the mid range RS forks for these to brake or fail. You may need to replace the whole damper. I can order one for you if need be. You'd be looking at around R1100 for a new damper
  14. Hi Hi, The new power saddle should have 2 little marks on either side of the cut out, these indicate the middle of the saddle in terms of its length. So with the old saddle installed on the bike, find its middle point and measure from there to the middle of your stem cap bolt. You will also want measure from roughly the same middle point on the saddle to the center point of your BB axle on the crank. Then fit the power saddle and set it up as per the measurements of the old saddle, this will get you as close as possible to your set up that your fitter did. Just a note, the power saddle is designed to support you at your sit bones, therefore you will want to set the saddle a little bit more nose down than a traditional saddle. My suggestion would be to start with having the seat rails set more or less level rather than trying to get the saddles platform leveled out and the go from there. I hope this helps
