  1. To use Tubeless on road rims, you need specific road tubeless rims, what make and models rims did you get? Just as with mountain bikes, using tubeless allows you to ride with lower pressures and makes for a slightly more comfortable ride. It will also reduce the risk of snake bite punctures as there is no tube to pinch. The down side is that the rims are slightly heavier due to their composition and replacement of spokes/nipples is quite difficult.

  5. Had the great pleasure of popping in this morning looking for a solution to a pretty simple problem that i have been told by many people was a near impossible task to solve. I have an old Hansom tandem that i am trying to modernise to use for the odd fun ride with the mrs(we ride well together) and the bike has an ancient front derailleur. This in itself is not serious... The problem is that the frame has a 28.6mm down tube, noone seema to keep/manufacture a clamp for this size tube anymore. Anyhow, I explain all this to George and he says 'No problem", fishes out a set of spacers and tells me that they will sort my problem.... Such awesome service and friendly help. For anyone looking for a decent project bike... He has quite a few brand spanking new unused steel frame... Colnago, Zini, Le Turbo, Hansom etc frames on a rack waiting for a new home.
  6. Awesome route... Did my first last year and looking forward to it....
