Then it was off to Hazyview...which got a little warm. Me leading the boys up the hills, doesn't happen often...at least I have proof We saw a dead or nearly dead lizzard type thingy...shame And before I knew it we were in Hazyview Angelica, Levi and I Unfortunately I don't have any of Adolph attacking the boys up Kowyns...Good one boytjie you go He made them work really hard. So the boys averaged about 383km over 3 days and 7535m of climbing. I think a great time was had by all who were there and I'm sure we are all taking a day or two easy ont he bike now to recover. Thanks for the fantastic weekend and thanks for putting up with slow little me I'll train Quin to get some more pics of you guys for next time

Some of the boys slept and some of us got to have pancakes at Harries, Yummy....Sorry Christie We had a braai that night and then it was Sunday. We went Graskop - Sabie - 10km up Long Tom (Panorama Route) - Hazyview - Graskop (via Kowyns) Unfortunately I had to miss Kowyns due to needing to leave to get home for other commitments!! Another cold roll out Our Stop in Sabie, I tried getting petrol but just got laughed at!! Me, Adolph and Kakaa...I see Christie avoided all my photos I was VERY happy with my performance up Long Tom as I went 2-4kph faster than at Panorama...I'm improving yippee The boys of course attacked each other and left me waaaayyy behind Wonder Woman2008-07-01 04:10:19

It was then some fast descends into Sabie....we got up to just short of 80kph...the cars couldn't keep up with us We then made it to Sabie where I decided to climb in the car and not kill myself after 130kms of hills and another day still to go. After a rest, loo break and food and coke stop we headed out to tackle Long Tom The boys leaving me behind very early on A good view of where we go Me at the top with the sign for proof

Levi and I stopped for a quick breather and food at the top of Robbers Then we headed off to Lydenburg which is 50kms of a few rolling hills. The boys were taking it easy to attack each other up Long Tom so I had some good company and a lekker steady piece of road. Me enjoying some flat road and a little wind

We then Flew down into Pilgrims Rest...oooh boy I froze to death and it took me nearly allt he way up Robbers pass to warm up again. Levi and I coming up Robbers....it's nice when the boys come back to fetch you They were all VERY nice to me...Thanks guys And then Jaco coming up the back

So, Friday morning the boys head out to graskop and get in 85kms or so arounf God's Window area. I unfortunately couldn't join them as we were getting our offices carpeted and I had to be there. So I eventually arrive in Graskop 23:00 and at 7:00 Saturday morning we are ready to hit some good mileage and hills. Our route would be Graskop - Pilgrims Rest - Lydenburg (via Robbers Pass) - Sabie (via Long Tom Pass) - Graskop. It Started out as a Chilly day but I thought it would warm up and didn't wear my legging....BIG mistake Up Bonnets of course was a little hectic as the legs are still cold but hey, it warms you up quickly. But they do often ride top of the range bikes....c'mon non of those top boys will ride anything less!! You think Lance just rode what was given to him...we all know how fussy some of these guys can be!! I think they need the responsiveness of a carbon bike!!

One question...if titanium is the best material for a bike, why aren't all the pro's riding titanium????

At least at school you have other people to get up to mischief with....at home you'll have to behave....now that is boring!! I remember my friends and I used to see who could get kicked out of our maths class first....was fun working the poor female up....kinda feel bad now because most of my friends are teachers!!!!
