everyone is sooo negative towards female riding I was just watching the SA's replay on SABC and one of the first things they mention is whether the ladies will be having a tea party. C'mon guys you're supposed to be supporting RSA cycling and building it up which includes the ladies, not breaking it down everytime you see a female Made me really mad...Andrew and others the females are changing, maybe it's time you do as well.

RaceChick...non of our racing ladies I know ride WSD. As long as you find a bike that fits you there's no problem. In general we just need smaller bikes and shorter stems....my biggest problem is the top bar distance...have a short stumpy body

Are you playing devils advocate or really trying to just fight the system. The truth is that normal insurers just won't pay out if you are in a race full stop. Get decent insurance, it's more expensive but considering your bike worth it is normally worth it!!

Wessel, it firstly depends on how long you are planning to take and always remember that there are always water points on the races...the things is you unfortunately then have to stop.
