  1. I think they just need to put a lollipop man in front...no need to change the swap.

Super stoked for Dovi for his win!!

Zarco is definitely my number 1 choice for Rossi replacement, but It seems that he has dropped off the pace a bit..

  2. Waylander is my favourite fantacy character.

Would love to see any of those as a series or movie...

David Gemmell was a legend...i remember staying up one night just to finish the one book in one sitting. Have ever tried "The King beyond the gate"..was one of the first Gemmell books i read and was the gateway to the rest for me. Another writer im currently enjoying is Brandon Sanderson -Stormlight Archive.

  3. Oh yeah great to see Binder in 7th. Hopefully he can build on this.

Does anyone know what happened to Darren Binder, he was missing from the Moto3 race and didnt do qualifying?

  4. Exceĺlent race from Dovi...great to hold his nerve on the last few and keep keep MM out on the last few laps especially on those left handers. I must say mich greater ride from Lorenzo. Rossi, oh Rossi, what can I say....Yamaha is struggling to be competitive at the moment..They cant remain the same otherwise the season is lost.

  5. Yes great races, glad to see binder starting to move towards the front  with his 8th? position. MM drove a sterling race with Folger  giving the excitement. I think Yamaha will be satisfied with the result seeing where they were on the grid ( that bike needs some serious tinkering during the holidays to fix it's inconsistency )

NB. How was that crash from Marquez jnr? ...that looked like a lot of hurt. :w00t:

  6. ROOSSSSSSSSSSSIIIIIII!!! All the talk of him not being quick enough or hungry enough, making excuses  that he is feeling under pressure because a Vinales (julle manne weet wie julle is)....utter horse radish, he has made enough money in his life , he wants to be there because he thinks he can still do it and show the young pups that the old dog has a few more tricks, and he did just that this weekend...

Great weekend of MotoGP, 3, 2 ...great races

NB. Petrucci was unlucky in the end , with the overtaking of the BMs, but i dont htink it would have made a difference.

    Q. DId Vanles and Rossi both use the new chassis?

  7. With a factory budget they can afford to run 2 different chassis. Honda does it, MM and DP don't use the same kit, never have if I am not mistaken.

Lorenzo just needs time, I think this time next year he will be much more competitive. Dovi has had a lot of time to gel with the bike. Remember back to when Dovi was on a full factory HRC and Lorenzo on the factory Yamaha, Lorenzo is by far a better rider than Dovi. That doesn't change overnight.

It is a disgrace the way they are working Sam Lowes out of his Aprilia seat btw......

    How they working him out?

  8. Marquez has always said he needs to crash to know where the limit is. He knows then how far he can push in a race. Kudos to him for conceding instead of binning it chasing Dovi.

Very uncharacteristically he has come out and said Yamaha never listened to him even though he had the experience of knowing the M1 evolution. Instead at testing last year they chose to follow Mav's direction. You really can't blame Yamaha though, they need to firm up their future and that future is Mav and whichever Moto2 graduate takes Rossi's seat. More than likely Zarco, who will have similar riding style and needs as Mav.

I also read in the paper that Rossi says the new frame they bought out on mondays testing is mmore to his style, so lets see what happens.

  9. What are you even talking about. Lorenzo was 4th. Dovi was vomiting last week, not this week. And Dovi has been on the bike 5 years, not 5 months.

Bertusras, you are right, it was last week..i got mixed up, my apologies for the fake news....but then again I am a unashamed fanboy of Rossi, but I must say Zarco is ready to take over when Rossi retires for me....until hopefully brad binder comes through...hey but that is racing

  10. The ironing is strong in this one. Great for Dovi and the Duck, honorable mention to Marquez who still pushed hard after five or so tumbles.  But where are the sneering ones about "too slow" Lorenzo when dr Rossi and young master weren't even in sight. At least Vinales acknowledged he couldn't come to grips with the bike and conditions while Rossi blamed Yamaha for not listening to him after testing last year.

More seriously it must be very hard to ride a tyre eating beast on a greasy track in the stinking heat while last years' bikes are cruising past you. All credit to these guys. The next races will be interesting I hope.

Lorenzo was too slow, he usually wins this race, but  only came 5th, and that is behind Dovi, who on the same Ducati (and vomiting all night) won the race. We all know Yamaha had problems, just look at qualifying..i doubt it had anything to do with the riders.

  11. I must say, it was a disappointing race for me in regards to Rossi, but to be honest Yamaha was never in it

Well done to Dovi for the win..

  12. Go ahead and leak. The problem is that the public don't know about what's going on.. and then we can't be outraged about it all and speak up if we don't know what's going on.

#CSAleaks.....I agree spill the beans, the time for thecycling public to now the truth..

  13. I want to agree with you, but he also needs time on the bike unfortunately. They said the earliest would have been LeMans, and they didn't rush to get him out. So that's a good sign to me. Argentina was almost 2 months ago, which should be sufficient time, should be.

Yeah sorry my bad, i thought he was talking about Rossi...I totally agree with Binderstory

  14. Too soon

His season is stuffed, he should rather heal up properly and have a good second half of the championship in preparation for next years title assault. No way he can win this year anyway. He came back too soon last time and I think this is the case again. Big braking zone into turn 1, he will be hurting big time!!!!

It might be too soon after crash... but who says he cant still win title...all it takes is one crash, one engine problem etc.....way to soon to right off season.

  15. A lot can still happen, if the championship was only really between 2 people, I wouldn't be so pessimistic on his chances, BUT this year there are a few guys who could win. So all of them would have to suffer a DNF or two.

More competition means less room for DNFs. Making up 25 points when everybody finishes the races is tough.

I agree, but that front tyre from Michelin is dodgy to say the least , even the old new one squishy..

  16. BREAKING: 2006 MotoGP champion Nicky Hayden has died following a cycling accident in Italy last week Wednesday.

    #NickyHayden

Cant even like the comment...RIP Nicky Hayden...MotoGP has lost a great son

  17. The flack I got on one of my whatsapp groups after Marquez fell was tremendous.

Was only matched by the silence after Rossi fell on the last lap.

I am glad he fell, now let me explain. If he hadn't tried for the win he would've been branded as over the wall. To see the desire and passion to win, even I am impressed and he deserved at least 2nd.

Back to Rossi bashing from here onwards, promise........

Yes... he was maybe too eager,

On a side note, do you not think that Vinales overshooting the  s-corner and almost overtaking Rossi, played a role in Rossi ( in the back of his mind) making the mistake on the turn on the last lap and then wiping out..?
