  2. Just posted these in the bike porn forum but seems to fit here as well.
  3. Early Christmas present...
  4. Wow. Screenshots and lawyers. That is hardcore. Did you ask permission to screenshot comments? It is after all intellectual property which does not belong to you. I think admin needs to look at the copyright issues herein. Seriously though, grow a pair. Threatening with lawyers will get you sued and no one wants to take a pensioners money.
  5. Thanks guys
  6. I clock in at 82kg currently and dropping relatively fast. The bike felt off balance so I took it in for a check up and the lbs dude said that my front has a flat spot but it was barely noticeable. I also had a few loose spokes due to another lbs which then got tightened up. Now, overall I am happy and bike does not feel as off balance as it did but still want to get rid of these white Crests, if only to get black ones except if I can go better without spending too much more I'll do it.
  7. V12, I am riding Suplest Cross Country Carbons- not on the cheaper side of shoes I have seen and they fit exceptionally well. No pressure points under normal riding, stiff as well but dear mother of all that is holy, I nearly took them off today at Jonkershoek on the final stretch of the our climb. Only thing I could think of was to replace pedals as it is on my list of things to eventually change but now I am wondering if I should not look at other shoes as well... My wife is going to
  8. I need some help please!! I am looking at replacing my Crest 29's as a Christmas present from me to my bike. Happy with the hubs and spokes. I looked at American Classic, Easton or alternately just getting another set of Crests. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!
  9. Interesting. Also looking to get new pedals as my feet are going numb when seriously climbing or doing a moderate to difficult single track. Currently on Shimano M540's and after reading some of the reviews I am leaning towards these: http://www.buycycle.co.za/index.php?dispatch=products.view&product_id=3040 Update us on your choice and how it is going
  10. Being fairly new to the sport, I have noticed it only once so far. Overall everyone has a word of encouragement, asks if you are ok etc should you be crawling next to your bike or inspecting it for some arb reason. Yesterday at Majik my back brake seized while going over the 2 humps. I somehow managed to get it unstuck but as I came round the corner there were a father / son team where the boy's bike also had a stuck back brake. Another MTB ninja was already there helping and then sped off. I guess you will get the grouches every once in a while no matter what sport you are in. Overall I can only say thanks to the incredible camaraderie there is out on the trails - it has kept me motivated!
  11. I have to give a +1 to CWC. Was my first stop when I decided to start cycling again. I got there the Saturday morning early looking like a southern subs bergie as it was a chaos work week and one too many cold ones the Friday eve. I was greeted as I walked in and the sales guy helped me from shoes right through to helmets and never stopped answering my questions or giving advice. If I need something I will defs pop in there, had a great experience.
  12. Kanga, let me know when you do Koeberg again, would love to join!
  13. Hahahahahaha... I was thinking about exactly that on my trip Sunday. Pedal mooning should make quite a giggle for motorists and fellow cyclists
  14. I think I might have just had a bikegasm...
  15. What an epic song... My gran still has the LP
  16. Hahahahaha... That must have gone down well with the mates.
  17. This morning I decided to head out on my special little route through the concrete jungle. After an exhilarating and wet ride, I stopped at home, washed the bike and put my little cycle comper in my jersey pocket. As I was nice and muddy, I thought I'd save the wife some hassle and wash the clothes straight off my back. Lo and behold, 20min later I realised the little electronic wonder was merrily being slung around amidst the Surf. Please tell me I am not alone in this universe of self inflicted injuries and feel free to post your uhm, mishaps, here!
  18. Song of the week...

  21. Would love to tow his ass around False Bay. Douche
  22. Hahaha, funny how life turns around as the age progresses. I wish i could find my assrim, but dingle is surely slaving right now to rectify the problem.
  23. Where? My spelling is impeccable. Also, did your mom never teach you it is rude to pick on people?
  24. What, you mean you don't get to watch cricket while having sex?
  25. Hahahahaha. Dear mother of all that is unholy in this world, after all that talk of rimjobs, ass ramming and asprin112, this is starting to sound like a functional marriage. Still no closer to getting my name fixed though o_0. Dongle, i will endeavour to catch my hot, semi naked SWAMBO (she who always must be obeyed) washing my bike and send that to you as reward for assisting with this pressing matter.
