I dont cycle at 30km/h + in my kitchen... I do feel that the race organizers or sponsered water points can clean that water point area... (not the whole 100km route) Thank you to all the wonderful people at the water points!

I also feel like this at the moment... think of going back to triathlon and MTB only... Is it wrorg to through your water sachet back at the water point? i feel there is people on duty their that can clean it up. just dont do it more than 500m away from the water point... is this ok? or do i also need a klap?

I had just commented on this in the bad day in the cradle thread. Not sure if its the same guy who rode in the A bunch? I was very upset on saterday. there was a dimension data old fart with no number on in the A bunch. he disposed of his sachets in the field. i asked him why he does that? he then asked me: "who do you think you are?" i told him it does matter who i am he should not do that... He then sed that i should meet him him at the end. I was all for that... i was ready to give him a klap or 2 then take him to a CSA offical. .... he wasn't there.... loser...

i think it was a nice race. i agree that a big hill in the beginning sorts everyone out. Then more or less equal strengh riders ride together. I all the way up the hill enjoying passing the FS riders on my HT... hehe..

mmm convincing yes.... Andrew Mclean also rides a 29er.... and i just bought a 26er.... damm...

agree with you Bos. the FS ride is much more exiting when the ruff stuff comes.... but my time over a half marathon is now better.... that makes me a wannebe racer right?

i went from FS to hardtail... know i fly on the single track! and some times of the bike aswell...
