I dealed with Justin Price from felt. justin@theprogroup.co.za He send me al the info i needed and even the ad for the 2009 bikes way before the launch. Please dont give up on your dream felt , it is really worth it! I luv my felt and cant wait for the AR series!
It is about time! Mens bou op vir n race die hele seisoen en wil dan graag saam die "regte" groep weg spring. Hoeveel ouens is daar met goeie seedings wat in A groepe wegspring en dan dadelik gedrop word omdat hulle nie op vorm is nie. Hulle seedings is nogsteeds goed van half jaar terug. Baie dinge kan verander in 6 maande ek dink.... Ek dink hulle moet die seeding mense begin betaal sodat daar n beter stelsel is. Wens ook hulle update die seedings voor blerie 94.7
I like the show.... Maar ja hulle kan verbeter! New bike and gear reviews will be nice.. They must have attetude like those Top Gear guys... (really like that show)
Ride does have an Afrikaans article with every issue, but it would be nicer to have a complete Afrikaans issue. How about Ride doing a poll to see how many Afrikaans readers they got? Ek wens Zuma was afrikaans! Ons kon die hele wereld oor geneem het! Maar n afrikaans fiets tydskrif sal leka wees ja!
The Bicycling mag sucks. If it wasn't for the nice lookin lady on the cover I would not have bought it last month. Ride mag is way better! I like the local stuff more than international news. ...local talent,,,, local races... local storie,, local gear,,, local people... nice to see yourself or your club mates in the mag aswell.....
my advise: Dont go for the schwinn or the Specialized. The top tube slope is not right for triathlon. I was in the some boat about a year ago. You must decide which is more important to you. road cycling events or triathlons. If you answer is road then maybe you have many obtions like the schwinn, specialized... etc If your answer is tri, go for something like a karbona with a road bike setup. removable bars etc. oh, but R13 000 is not enough to go carbon (new bike) sorry..

Ek gedog ek is ook 'cycling obsessed' omdat ek minder bier drink op n vrydag aand en naweke probeer reel rondom fietsry maar sjoe... julle vat dit ver. Maar ek moet se, dit sal nice wees om met n girl soos nellie te trou dan hoef mens nie elke keer te se hoelank jy op die pad gaan wees nie. en partykeer is dit leka om n uur in n fiets winkel te spandeer.

hi.. I would really go with the felt. It looks good and have good components. Warranty, I agree that a bike will show its faults in the first -+3000km. Al 3 brands will replace a cracked frame. Secound choice would be the specialized. I did a test ride with a GT.. I didn't 'felt' it! haha it was not specialized enough! sorry for the pun... The best option would be: Buy a Eddy Merckx LXM frame (R13500) Then go buy a 105 groupset from Solomons +- R3500. Now you just need wheels+ handelbar,stem + seat! Dammit the budget!
