  1. I was an innocent bystander that just clicked on the last page of a long discussion and what I found was the answers that I was seeking, the universe answered my cries of despair and I will no longer wander on trails
  2. I am investigating Randburg to Sandton, quite a few hills though and insanely busy roads... That could be the bike
  3. Yeah that is a good point, But maybe the bike geometry will be a bit off with that set up (trying to picture it in my head) but it is actually a good concept. Especially for us riders who like to throw it around a bit, want to keep an eye on this one
  4. Some good laugh's for your Friday if you haven't seen them already... Number 5 the guy nearly created a new trick! 5 Star kind of stuff http://www.pinkbike.com/news/fail-of-the-month-august-2014.html
  5. Stupid question maybe... But what would be the biggest benefit of this set up? You get better control upfront but you have the nimbleness in the back? Serious up front with a party in the back?
  6. Anger issues I tell you...
  7. Nope, there may be one or two, but I am sure there will be many more on those forums. Advice from multiple sources is better than advice from 1 or 2
  8. Well then back to the OP's question this is my answer (which I do believe pertains to the topic) Post on any of these forums... http://www.gunsite.co.za/forums/forum.php/ http://www.gunownerssa.org/forum/ Asking riders on use of a gun is stupid, rather ask the professionals, they will give you valuable advice and answer your question without hostility.
  9. Then I do apologise for my ignorance in the area and if she is reading this my condolences go out to her
  10. Sorry super dof... Have you heard of ANY MTB'r being raped in SA???
  11. An MTB'r raped?! Man you must know some good looking fella's!
  12. On another point, how many MTB's do you know that have been shot in SA? I hear of bike jackings by gun point but no shooting? But if you have a gun I am sure I will be reading about shooting
  13. You WILL Spend a fortune on legal fees - FACT
  14. +1000000000
  15. So the bigger question is where would you keep your ammo? And then in order to reload you need sone protection of sorts? So this is what I propose, offers good protection when needed most, may affect your strava times a bit though
  16. http://www.midwestenergynews.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/02/bike-turkey-hunter.jpg How do you guys decide on what to carry? You never know what you may need out there?
  17. Thanks for pointing that out
  18. Brilliant, thank you! Looking at bringing in a stem and handlebar also and read they charge 40% but now can safely order
  19. How much did you pay for import costs?
  20. Sometimes I do wonder if I am on a cycling forum or a dog activist forum. Have to double check just in case
  21. As it's been said. Just importers keeping up with trends. The 26" market out in the world is still pretty big and is not going anywhere. Most riders would agree that no bike can whip like a 26"... But that market is tiny SA as we lack bike parks providing us with the opportunity to whip it like we want... So it ain't going anywhere, the market just isn't in SA (Just affirming what many people have said)
  22. Hustler
  23. I blow the dude a kiss... He has no clue what to do, it just makes him more frustrated with himself
  24. It's people like you that give HD riders a bad name...
