I have just been informed by the @#$#%& who hit me insurance company , that they wont be paying my claim as their client says " I swerved infront of his vehicle " I mean really do you think I would be sitting here right now if I had swerved infront of Landrover Freelander travelling at 75+ kmh , he hit me with his side mirror , knocking me clean off my bike , so I contact the #%&%#@ and he says you where riding in the road ! I say I ride a road bike where do you want me to ride it ??? Time to hand over to the pro's. Let their be justice !!!

Thank you all for all the advice and well wishes I seem to be getting better and went for a folow up visit today and the doc is happy with my recovery , LBS inspected the bike and say it is 100% (whew) so i plan to be back on the road by the weekend Take care and happy safe cycling

Yesterday while on a ride minding my own businessat 10:15am cycling from kyalami towards woodmead , having done 99km the f%#*en chop in a freelander wacks me on my right arm so hard the bike goes from under me , sideways , I go down on the tarmac Then I look down the road only to see a toyota speeding toward me , had to jump out the road Thankfully I only have some bad bruising and swelling on my right arm and a little bruise on my right ass (that is slightly padded) . Went for xrays etc all looks ok , dropped bike of at LBS to go over The chop stopped thank goodness and now the procedure of claiming for everything starts had to report the whole thing etc What are my rights etc ?

i sent my topeak light in and wow what service , those guys are really professional and organised , dropped the light of at LBS and 1 week later was back and fixed BIG UP TO TOPEAK AGENTS

wheels make a difference , so does training regularly my 2c .....i think a good set of wheels can make a slight improvement as stated by previous peeps. i wish for a set of eastons , had a set ..got written off in a prang , i miss them soooooo much

Gobbo is a character from Noddy .....for those of you who di\ont have kids or could not be botherd to getr involved in your kids lives. I am the rider who always waits for the last guy on our club rides so i suppose that makes me a prick for caring , but hey you are all entitiled to your say , I'm not g-d just an ordinary guy.

The kid and his dad paid for the dinner , so whats the big deal of letting a kid have his photo taken with his hero ? I doubt he will sell it , not that type of kid. Well you all have valid points , this whole incident , im shure there are many more leaves me feeling rather angry

Just heard from a friend who was at the Lance dinner the He would not let a 16 year old cyclist have a photo with him , I mean come on here is a lightie who has gone to meet his hero and cant even have a photo with him !! It was quite simple ...If you dont pay you dont get ! What a Prick !!! Lance is right ...Its not about the bike !!! Its about CASH ! Have a heart ......oh i forgot lance is not human

Joined the "A" group yesterday for our , weekend ride to the cradle , all was great , managed to keep up with the guys , had to stop twice for a minor mechanical problem. With about 15km left of the ride a plastic bag got caught between my wheel and fork , luckly I was ok , had to stop for 30 seconds to take off the front wheel and remove the plastic. I am the first one to stop for a problem and offer assistance. Only 2 guys stopped to wait , all the other bastards just carried on riding , all came past me and saw what had happened and they wonder why the club is not growing. Most of these riders also take up the whole lane on rides, as well as there been very little discipline , typical. The wheel goes round guys , remember that !!!

Wishing Bertus a full and speedy recovery. I was riding down club street yesteday morning , must have been just ahead of you guys , left with the 9th street guys. As for that ass.... in the bakkie , one day he will have his turn. The guy in the car BIG UP !!

A good friend of mine had an argument with a truck driver , he had put the bike near the truck , the driver simply dover over it and dragged it......shocking

5th or 6th not shure , im just going to have fun !! last year did a 2h31 , this year a 2h45 is on the cards all been well. Have a safe ride all !

I have started to keep my used sachets in my pockets. No big deal. It has been said , dont you wash your shirt ??? I do JUST DO IT !! Put emtys in your pockets or dont use goo's
