Not going to it! Waste of money for me. Its a great race but bunches are way too big due to greed I believe ,and I have seen some nasty accidents. Rather do the "smaller"races. To those who are going do do it , good luck and ride safe.
I have 2 thumbs up for 2 bike shops. 1)Linden Cycles - Sorted out my broken darks glasses arm on Sat morning while I waited - No charge , apparently a warranty thing while been very busy , not surpised with such great service 2)Dunkeld cycles sorted me with shimano pedal plates which apparently according to some other shops are not available ? Thanks to both LBS u guys are making a HUGE difference Keep up the AWSOME friendly service.
What if the frame is out of allignment? What are the chances of a carbon frame been out ?? Will the agent replace it? and pay for the rebuilding? I hope so I will measure it later or tommorow , with some help. Like you said even a mm or 2 can make a big diff. Thanks Gobbo
Thanks for the advise The bike had this problem from new ? I doubt the drop out will be bent if its is "out the box" The drop outs are alu. I will try post a pic tommorow. I am also going to take off the tyre and see what the gaps look like.
Hi Hubbers I have a slight problem with my bike. It is a carbon frame. Now When I put on a set of mavic ksyriums the rear wheel tyre would rub slightly against the frame. Now I had that wheel "dished" which sorted that out. Now I have put the tyres from the mavics onto the Shimano wheels and have the same problem?? Also noticed that the gap on the chainstays on either side of the wheel is not equal. What do you think the problem is?? I cant keep on "dishing " wheels. Thanks Gobbo

Just keep cycling on the left hand side and avoid all of this. If you are going to be "taken out" rather not see it comming, your body will be more relaxed and therfore have less injuries if that at ll possible. Its like drunk drivers are seldom injured in an accident , they are to relaxed.
When looking at buying a new bike this is what I found: Raleigh RC6000 Alli with carbon forks and rear stays with shimano 105.....+-R20.000 Felt F4 Full carbon ,Shimano Ultegra SL R20.000 NO BRAINER WHICH TO CHOOSE IN MY OPINION This was towards the end of last year.
Maybee the guy left of a 0 and it should be 90% ??? I also heard about the carbon frames cracking last year and been replaced by new ones. I had a raleigh , bought it from a shop in PTA forR8500.00 Exact bike at well known bike shop that is now gone marked at R13500.00.....WTF !!! Now riding a FELT and loving it. Sorry raleigh NEVER AGAIN !!!

Thanks all for all your advice. I managed to contact a company in primrose/germisto called Franton. They supplied and fitted the batries for a fracton of the cost of a new pack from the agents.
