I have a topeak moonshine light about 3 years old and the battery is giving up the ghost. To buy a new one is about R800.00 Is there any cheaper alternative? to a new battery.

I ride with some "older guys" who have the latest bling bikes , but they have earnrd it , and i say good luck to all the peeps who can afford the ultimate blinged out bikes. I have always known what the "A" stands for. haha They also have BIG egos and heaven forbid the newbie or youngster who sets a faster pace , all the toppies bitch and moan, but they are "A "group riders

I decided to ride with my clubs "A" bunch on sunday. At first the pace was ok and eventually started to pick up. Eventually I got P***ED off with the guys because they started to go through RED robots , but they seemed to accelerate through the robot which as we all know is dangerous and gives us responsible cyclists a bad name.Myself and a few others then had to chase these people down to catch up. At one time we caught our "D" bunch which had done a shorter route and the "A" guys went through another red robot only to be repremanded by the "D" bunch who where quite right in doing so. I was not the only rider who got fed up withthis poor behavior. Shurly cyclist of "A" bunch calibure should know and respect the rules of the road and not endanger fellow club cyclists.

Hi There My new bike came witha compact 34/50 with a 11-23 at the back. Up the hills is really easy now. Apparently most bikes these days are coming out with compacts as standard so u dont have to grind big gears. Look at your front blade and there should be a number on it somewhere. if it is a 53 then it is not a compact. Safe cycling

I got hit by a taxi mirror on wednesday am. Got hit so hard that the whole mirror got taken off the taxi. It was a new toyota quantum Reg XBM 819 GP. Got some bad bruising on my right arm and back. We have to do something about these people.

I ride on a wednesday and friday from sandringham along moddies road thaen take the loop to kempton. I get to moddies at about 5am Im a roadie Where and how far do u ride?

My Kid Loves Noddy , and one of the characters is "gobbo" he is one of the naughty goblins.

I take my hat off to any cyclist on a ride , the fact the people are actually doing some excercise is great. The only problem is towards the end of these rides we are all very exhausted and concentration is not at its best due to fatigue , this can cause accidents. I will be more polite in future. You live and learn.

in the last ride for sight the same thing happened, i saw about 3 accidents , where faster riders went into the back of slower guys. its dangerous for everybody.

To keep it simple i think the slow riders should keep left at all times , as not to confuse people. I suppose it depends on the marshals and what the erace organisers decide.

I WAS PLAYING DODGEM BIKES ON THE WAY TO THE FINISH , ALL THE SHORT DISTANCE SLOW RIDERS ALLOVER THE ROAD WITH NO CLUE OR MANNERS , THE BUNCH I WAS WITH WAS SHOUTING FOR ABOUT 15KM . THE ORGINISERS SHOULD MAKE DIFFERENT LANES FOR THE DIFFERENT DISTANCES , IT WILL BE SAFER FOR EVEYONE.wE WHERE DOING ABOUT 30KM/H AND THESE GUYS ARE DOING ABOUT 15KM/H AND YOU DONT KNOW WHAT THEY WIL DO NEXT , GO LEFT , RIGHT OR STRAIGHT.
