Lithium grease is thinner and doesn't last as long. It apparently also damages seals, when used on your suspension. I just play it safe and use the Teflon grease on everything, works well and lasts long.

You need to use a grease that doesn't contain lithium preferably a Teflon based grease. Marine grease isn't great either, Q20 is possibly the worst thing you could do to your bike. Go carbon, esspecially if you have a dirt jump back ground. Now days carbon is stronger than most alu's and can be fixed. When carbon is fixed it usually ends up stronger and a tiny bit heavier. While a welded alu frame is still broken in my opinion. That's my 2c.
