I'm a first-timer for this race too. Enjoy climbing so hills don't concern me. Quite a few races coming up in the next 9wks, salivating at the prospect!

My advice to newbies and rookies is to grow a thick skin, overnight. There are always a few sad trolls who find pleasure in their own unpleasantness. P.S: Spent three years in Bloem as a Captain based at 3Mil in Tempe, still have fond memories of my time there.

I don't doub't the Hub has progressed over time, neither do I doubt it will continue to grow. There was no malice in my original post. Most people understood the thrust of what I was saying, but King Crispy (in his infinite wisdom) felt compelled to be a horse's ass from the outset.
