  1. Very varied wind reports depending on what site you look at. Oh well nothing we can do about it. It will be the same for everyone.
  2. They did send out a few emails saying numbers wont automatically posted. If you phone or email them they will post it.
  3. Entered! I really loved this race last year.
  4. I will never understand how seeding works... I get the math... Just not how we are eventually seeded...
  5. Take the challenge. Enjoy it and keep us posted on your progress.
  6. Yes! It is quite strange. I always feel niggling or old injuries come up when I am taking a break or tapering. It is your body reminding you of the all the knocks you took during the year...
  7. Done, less than five minutes! I hope I did well...
  8. Sign up to the travelstart.co.za news letter. They have specials on domestic flights all the time. They also give you a fews days notice before the airlines release those super cheap limited seats specials.

    KILLARNEY

I am going to give this a go. See you tomorrow!
  11. Definitely check Neils wheels in Plumbstead.... Sorry for the loss...
  12. I rode the course today. I loved it! Quite difficult but lots of fun. Had a small fall as well...
  13. Stay easy would be ideal but it is fully booked. I have booked at Golden Horse. Has anyone stayed there before or know if it is any good?
  14. Sorry guys... Is this for Masters worlds 23/24 August or Elite worlds 30/31 August?
  15. I had the same problem with the San Marco Superleggera, it also has carbon rails. I searched the web and even wrote to San Marco, I never got a reply, I only get their news letter once a month now... The only good piece of advice I got was from my LBS who said that I should tighten it to the torque spec of the seat post, that info should be easily available. I found that if the rails aren't tight enough the saddle moves forward or back really easily, so you really have to tighten them a lot. I have since managed to crack one rail, from riding though, not from tightening. I still use the saddle, but keep an eye on them.
  16. Keep both. When summer comes you will miss your road bike.
  17. It's the world champs! The course must be world champs difficult. I have seen the video some of the rocky sections do look scary but I can't wait to ride it! Thanks to you and Nick for all the hard work you guys have been putting in. Please just ignore the whiners...
  18. It was fantastic. Beautiful weather, 30 degrees, awesome route, 75km, and good result, 29th!
  19. I picked up a Garmin on the 75km race. Please let me know if it yours or if you know someone who has lost one.
  20. Thanks guys! I had actually already entered. The first I saw of requiring a license was in Nigel's post, I am glad I saw it! I have now bought a domestic license and CSA membership. I have been emailed a membership card, does that constitute the license as well or is it a separate card? Thanks again for the help.
  21. Does anyone know if we have to organize a race license before hand or will CSA be in PMB to issue day licenses?
  22. Such a nice post. I still ride with my dad every Sunday afternoon, I am 31 and he is in his 60's.
