  1. Those fellow players sound gay I mean, the guy had some "work" to do - cut him some slack. It seems the outcry is that he used the toilet for the disabled people With him out of the game, we might have a chance
  2. Eish!!! Heard rumours it was Suzie Wellington - The All Blacks suspended scrumhalf Aaron Smith on Thursday over a toilet tryst with a woman at a busy airport, in the latest scandal to hit the beleaguered New Zealand Rugby union. Coach Steve Hansen said the 54-Test veteran breached team standards and his fellow players felt he should be punished. "As a result Smith was not considered for selection for this weekend's Durban Test," Hansen said as the world champions prepare for their Rugby Championship Test match against South Africa. Hansen said Smith was seen entering a toilet cubicle with a woman at Christchurch Airport the day after the Test against South Africa in the South Island city last month
  3. That is fine - the fact that you don't get it, does not mean others don't get it. I get it and enjoy every year!
  4. Guys, thanks for the replies
  5. Hi hubbers, I'm considering replacing my "silent" Shimano hubs with a more noisy hub - I just love the sound of some hubs when free wheeling. Any recommendations - I had a look at the Hope hubs at CWC. The missus suggested I get the Hub's view before I spend the moola

  9. Well done Tubehunter Was cheering the runners on in Newlands - weather was perfect!! Off topic- I did something very stupid! I stood next to my 29'er when a runner asked me to help him looking for his car keys. He was in such a panic. I offered him my bike to turn around and go look for his keys - I only saw his name and race number (which I forgot after 10 seconds!) on his shirt - After about 15 minutes I started panicking - what if he does not come back, what do I tell my insurance and the police? But, he came back with my bike - there are good people out there and some stupid people like me Well done to all the runners!!!
  10. Oooooooooooooooooooook!!!! Thanks
  11. Watched the Boks - Aussie game on Monday night - saw this old auntie with a cane on the field before kick-off asking permission or something - did not get the whole speech. Anyone knows what that was all about?
  12. Not gonna happen! Back to the rugby, I'm very worried about that inside channel of Jantjies - at the same time the midfield does not inspire confidence. I think we need to play pick-up and drive thru the middle - not that aerial game handing the AB possession - in that case we will defending the whole bloody day!! Our conditioning is not where it needs to be - I cannot see us keeping up with the pace for 80 minutes - we might be fit but not "wedstryd fiks!" Even if we are competitive and keep the score line down, that will not solve the underlying problem in our rugby. Come now Bokke!! - I will cheer you on when I'm busy with my mid-morning ride!
  13. Please explain! Cape Crusader
  14. Lekker Dale! Why did Die Muishond go through the fence?
  15. I cannot disagree with him - maar sy moer man!
  16. Why does the name "Oupa Mohoje" come to mind? with compliments from Fikile Mbalula
  17. Same here ...and worry about the wind on the day
  18. Guys, can we please stop having a go at the Boks. Cape Town - Springbok flyhalf Morne Steyn feels the South African media and rugby public are overcritical. Steyn replaced Elton Jantjies in last Saturday’s losing Rugby Championship Test against Argentina in Salta. He missed two penalties as well as a drop attempt as the Boks went down 26-24. Steyn currently plays his club rugby with Stade Francais in France where he admits he feels less pressure there than in South Africa. After arriving with the Boks in Johannesburg on Monday, Steyn toldNetwerk24: “I’ll now probably be the worst flyhalf in the world. In South Africa you just cannot win with the media and the rugby public. “That’s one thing I don’t miss when I’m playing in France. (Here) the one week you can be the best, then suddenly you’re the worst there is the following week. “I’ll probably now hear that I’m too old and have to hang up my boots. As player you just have to listen to the right people and not let the unnecessary negative criticism bother you.” Looking to the future, Steyn feels the current Bok squad boasts the right player personnel. “I think it’s a new era with young guys and they should be given the chance to establish themselves.”
  19. When that guy says he is not moaning...
  20. All the confirmations were sent to The Muishond Still waiting for mine
  21. Very nice breakfast Take the missus for their pork neck and nice wines (I recommend Uber)
  22. Now that is a valid question. Is the PPA's core mandate to be an association with the focus on investments, exploring investment growth etc. I agree with responsible financial management but the core focus should be on spreading the financial love to grow the sport of cycling. I want to remember the PPA as an association promoting cycling and not an association showing the biggest investments in the books
  23. Agree And that nice restaurant!!! Open Door - I will recommend it!
