  9. Due to an overwhelming number of requests we have decided to open the final day of our 3 day tour to an Open cat Fun ride. The route distance will be exactly the same as Day 3 of the Tour which is 112kms starting and ending at the Eaglevlei restaurant in Stellenbosch. The route is fairly flat and we have no doubt that most weekend warriors or social riders will be able to enjoy and complete this route. We will have 1 water point along the route as well as sweeper vehicles for any riders not able to continue. The race venue is a really fantastic family friendly restaurant and has an amazing indoor play area for the kids at only R30 per day(usually R100 per kid) and we have exclusive use of the marque tent and pizza area of Eaglevlei with a dedicated bar area, live sport, Halaal food vendor and a top class coffee vendor. Cost for the Tuv Nord Heritage Fun Ride is only R180 and no CSA license or membership is required. Mobi timing chips will be on sale or hire at registration on the morning of the race at R100 which is refundable upon return of your chip. https://www.facebook.com/events/332968230607454/

  22. Thanks for attending the race today everyone. Unfortunately you will always get guys riding on wrong side of the road even in SA's or PPA races. This was a big concern in CAT2 as well but the commissaries arent strict enough. I will def bring this up in the next WPCA meeting dont worry guys. I think that 1 warning is fair and next time its DQ on the spot.
