  1. I was comfortable from the word go with my Arione .but maybe you should give it 3 or 4 long runs before replacing it Also check your saddle height and position as this will differ from one saddle to another. Good Luck

    Degreasing

    He without Power washer doesn?t ride enough dirt. And for political correctness ?DON?T SPRAY IN THOSE AREAS? and grease your bearings every 3 months No problem.
  4. Hi Black Jack Exactly the same thing happened with me today .My cross marks are a month old and today the back tire bubbled and punctured I took the tire to the LBS they will send it to the supplier ,If I hear anything I will reply on this thread .

  9. The bottom one is damaged .I am trying to fit a Shimano adapter on for a180 Rotor and they have a specialized bolt for the bottom one If I can get a longer bolt it will work as well, it seems to be the first couple of threads that are damaged

  13. Excellent race you need to put this on your diary isn't it tough riding for 3/4 days? Not even to metion the fact that it's quite hilly. - well that's what I heard. Definitely need to be fit and there is a lot of climbing, but if you pace yourself from day one or join the fun peloton, it will be an experience to remember .You still have enough time to train<?: prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" />

    MTB Hubs

    Currently running M525 hubs continuously have to open ,clean and grease them to keep them smooth, Bought a set of XT wheels(will only start using them on the Sabie) will see how they hold out.

  22. FUN, FUN, FUN The Night race was excellent and both races were challenging, nice climbs and fast downs. The rain put a nice spin on things especially on the night race. Will be back next year Congrats to the organizers
  23. Thanks for all the advice and help. I only got a chance to get on to the hub now ?sorry for not responding earlier ? It is definitely an A headset and it looks like cartridge bearings the fork is out but the bearings do not want to budge I will try to post a picture this afternoon.
  24. I have a CANE CREEK headset on my MTB wanted to clean and grease the bearings as the bottom one doesn?t sound to healthy. It seems like the bearings is pressed in to the frame and I am scared to damage the frame and or bearings. Can I take them out (if yes how and how do I put them back)?? Or should I take the bike to my LBS.
