  1. We use these for winter cycling, and sell them on our website: Cyclogel Winter Gloves. They have a Thermal Upper. Machine washable and durable. Survived the last few winters with them

  3. I agree 100% nolipoli. Here's what the UK manufacturer has to say about the Winter Weight L/Sleeve Race Jersey we're selling: "This high performance breathable, long sleeved, winter weight race jersey has been technically designed for serious cyclists. Manufactured from a high-wicking, warm and technically advanced fabric to take moisture from the body and out through the fabric, whilst keeping the wearer both dry and warm. Incorporating a rubber waist gripper, to prevent garment ride-up and elasticated sleeve cuffs. Three elasticated rear pockets, including a smaller, mobile phone holding pocket. High strength, full length, 2-way Vislon zip."
  4. 7. Our 2nd Ultra as well TopFuel! Ignorance is bliss indeed! The event is so wonderfully majestic - like the Argus of Cycling. We loved the support along the road last year shouting out our names And nervously looking forward to Saturday.. Have a great race!
  8. Yes Thomo! I was really hoping Fabian was going to do a 2013 Roubaix attack Honestly surprised with Wiggo and Geraint gliding over those cobbles to get a top 10 But very happy for the 29yo's win And to average 45+ kmph!, Respect.

  12. Just a quick thank-you to City Cycling Club for organizing a great 2 man Team Time Trial at Fisantekraal today. Heading out this morning, the weather could not have been any better. It was a beautiful sunny morning with a gentle 4-7kmh wind from a westerly direction which makes a very pleasant change from a howling south-easter. The race was billed as a 2 man team time trial over a fairly flat 25km circuit with only a few gentle rollers that weren't going to hurt too much. City Cycling Club was well represented as well as the Outriders and a couple of teams from Team Pure Savage and Complete Cyclist. As far as possible the lower seeded pairs started first with the quicker riders starting out last. With a 2 minute gap between the pairs there weren't too many teams passing each other and it worked very well. It was very obvious comparing the difference between the serious TT's on TT specific bikes and those on normal road bikes. The winning average was well over 40kmh. Some photo's can be found here https://www.facebook...&type=1
  13. A couple of photo's from this morning. Apparently someone went splat on the steps today but managed to get up and carry on okay.
  14. You're now up to R7000 as I just made a donation of R1200. It's Nedbank so should reflect immediately. Good luck and good work Cheers Stephen
  15. Hi, We use Fastway as our courier company. Fastway DO NOT have way bills. They operate a pre-paid satchel (like a speed service satchel) and pre-paid label system. The labels are small peel and stick labels with a number attached that will typically begin with YA0010??????? The picture he has put on with the Fastway stamp looks like a receipt he has obtained from somewhere. Be careful because it doesn't look legit. Edit - Pic of label attached (which have to be used on boxes)
  16. If you don't come right, these will be landing early next week, all being well, at a very competitive price. 2 x LED lights. You can contact dennis@sportsworld.co.za for more info and technical specs and prices.
  17. Haha, no probs Steven. Thanks for the support you gave us.
  18. Cheers Luc. You know Dennis will look after you
  19. Hi Guys, It is with some regret that we wanted to let you know that Sportsworld.co.za is changing. After much deliberation Arlene and I have decided that the time is right for us to return home to Ireland for our family. We have met many fantastic people through TheHubSA, and have enjoyed all the interactions we have had. For a number of weeks now, we have had to put off buying additional stock as we were working with a timeline with regards to the sale of our property. We know this has impacted our stock levels to a certain degree and we apologise for any inconvenience caused. We are however, really delighted to announce that Sportsworld.co.za will be carrying on as usual under new ownership from the beginning of April. The new owners are extremely well- known local Western Cape cyclist Dennis Lamminga who brings his vast knowledge and experience to the business. He will be joined by his wife Ena. They will be operating from the Durbanville area which will also please a lot of you J. Dennis has already been busy buying exciting new stock and will also be offering more MTB components and tyres. Feel free to drop him some suggestions here. In the interim however, Arlene and I would like to celebrate not only St. Patrick’s Day but also the fact that Ireland have just won the 6 Nations Championship, by discounting a lot of our items by 50% on our website www.sportsworld.co.za. And yes, in BOD we trust Thanks once again. Stephen
  20. Well it is 6 quid for delivery. When it gets to SA you will pay 14% VAT on your purchase price, so for eg GBP50 x R18.50 = R925 then add your VAT = R925 + 14% = R1054.50 PLUS a handling charge. handling charge will be about R35 at SAPO and about R105 via a courier. If you choose the Royal Mail delivery then it'll probably take about 3 - 6 weeks to arrive (as long as it has a tracking number)
