  1. Never use a high pressure hose. I hose the mud off with normal pressure hosepipe, then clean the bike with a sponge with either clean green or muck off, then attack all the moving parts with a paintbrush and pure clean green. Bike as good as new already, all relubed as well.
  2. Sheesh the photos are pricey?
  3. Muddy as hell but wicked fun!
  4. I hope so. Looking so forward to this, my favourite place. I wonder if having jippo guts for the last 2 days will make me faster?
  5. I have a set of those in the garage. I'm keeping them for when I need to throw something hard at someone. Thought the same as you, best of both worlds, foot kept popping out at the worst of times and actually had a very hard bail in the parking lot at fratelli's because it would not release. Absolute crap.
  6. No clue but I can collect for you if you need?
  7. I had to replace my rear derailleur cable after saturday, completely caked with mud. Will be fun no matter what.
  8. Rode there on Saturday, was so much fun in the mud! Hope it dries for the race though...
  9. Mudbath unless the rains stop...
  10. Ford... I have 1 too! Useless driver !
  11. Results are here http://www.spectrumsport.co.za/Portals/17/ResultDoc/USNcup_MTB_20140215.pdf That tar climb followed by the dirt climb is a proper warm up...
  12. Very good race, only bottlenecked in the muddy parts, bit windy and good climbs. Venue well cleaned up.
  13. Going for sure, love the place!
  14. I saw the pic of Nico's bike, he posted to FB. He is riding a 27.5" Scott Spark Dual Suspension bike, with Sram 1x11. Brave.
  15. Unless this weather changes, the bottom section by the river and down by the reeds will be hell.
  16. CWC dont do KMC? Not on their site? I would also like to know where to get KMC chains.
  17. I use these, super comfy, look cool, and comfy to walk and even drive in. Clips in and out like a dream.
  18. Y should I help someone that does not even have the decency to greet when greeted? Thats karma for him right there.
  19. Today I greeted as usual at Northerns, one dude flatly ignored. A while later, I checked him trying to fix a broken chain, I asked him if he needed help, he said yes, I said learn to greet back then and I rode off.
  20. Hope the trail gets some TLC beforehand, I hear its been neglected.
