  2. SWEEET, cant wait to see her on the hill its too beautyful
  3. Mango dont give a S**T Flew to CT last year, granted i took a chance and just wheeled my bike on but when i got it back it looked like it got dragged along the tarmac and then left to slide around during the flight. Luckily it was just scratches and everything still worked, gave up after a while because dealing with incompetent people just isn't worth it. Still not sure what to do the next time i need to fly.
  4. The road looks pretty new, Im guessing they just stuffed up and didnt compact enough, consider the drainage or build the drain under the road correctly, and after a nice storm it all got washed away.
  5. I reckon they were taken from the same direction but the set of photos without the bakkie was taken after the crash had been cleared up and the water had dried up. Look at the road and you can see the glass still lying there from where the canopy ended up. CONGRATULATIONS . . . . you win the 1 million Dollars
  6. Wow, did the people in the car survive? Is that one of Malema's Roads/Bridges by any chance???
  7. I was going to put a 50mm DH stem on it. The long one prob won't last long anyway. I also think it looks too goofy. If you decide to sell the white one before it breaks give me a shout, its the missing piece.
  8. WOW!!!!! My sentiment exactly, you need a different bike for every type of riding, they all have their own benifits. I do LOVE your collection, except for those gay things with curly handlebars, they burn those at the 24h, Im sure they would appreciate the donation I just need to get myself a trail bike now, pretty much like your Cove, Very Hot
  9. Damn, I didn't think anyone would notice. . . . I just cant get over how beautifull the bike is ok real reason, the pic was like 10 kb to big so i just killed some of the detail in the background to make it smaller, guess i could have just made the pic size smaller. Peach2010-02-28 16:56:27

  14. Our Tandem, recently bought from a friend and built up to be a bit more durable, Unfortunately not getting to ride it enough.
  15. I think I could ride at Rays every day for a year and still have stuff to do there, check out the link and the different sections they have there, its HUGE. http://www.raysmtb.com/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=13&Itemid=14 As far as the Trials bikes go, A frind is selling his GT Zaskar Trials bike, I ride the same bike and it is awesome, https://www.bikehub.co.za/forum_posts.asp?TID=72824&KW=Trial OTHERWISE check out this link, they should be here soon, https://www.bikehub.co.za/forum_posts.asp?TID=69033&KW=trial pm myself or they guy who posted the topic.
  16. Hope the rider has a speedy recovery. the medics were a bit daft with the rout they took, the main path would have made life alot easier, that drop is seriously steep. Sensationalised isnt the word, i think they trying to stop everyone riding MTB. Do they send someone along just to take pics? Its almost as if they were posed for!
  17. And on the front? Is that a 22 or a 32? Front im running a 22, using a bash ring that fits where the 32 (middle or big ring) would normally be seen. To PEACH:how did you setup your gears to only run 3 cogs? Use spacers to line up the cog you use the most (for me its my Trials gear) with the front ring. place the other desired cogs as they would normally lie in the casset (with thin spacers inbetween). Pack the rest with spacers or larger single speed spacers untill the freewheel is covered and the modified casset can be tightened like normal.Set the derailiour (spelling) limits to keep the chain running on the rings you have in place. 18. Smaller, stronger and stiffer frame, BB is lower and closer to the back axle, built to withstand punishment, seat low and out the way.....the pictures say it all.
  19. Running 3, 18t for trials, 12t for DJ and 15t to change between the 2 i need. Hog's just jelous cous he cant go fast enough......
  20. Big ups to Tim at FPC Paulshof, After another bike shop gave my bike back to me with a loose head set and didnt tell me the butterfly was pulling out so they couldn't tighten it properly, I did take it back to them and they were useless but did say sorry..........., anyway, took it to FPC and they worked on it for 30 min trying all the different stem inserts and managed to get it sorted, in the end landed up only paying for the new butterfly.
  21. Pretty sure it will, was going to try it out today but we got kicked out early. I know, mixed up bits from home, and whatever i find that will do the job. Note, the saddle is not to save weight and I didn't pay for it. Magura's and Tar work really well on the back but wanting to try disc on the front, not that chuffed with the magura's performance.
