My Trials / Jump bike, Fork and back wheel are recent upgrades.

Front wheel hit the edge and my bike shot out from underneath me, landed on the floor......... hence the sore wrists.

Was doing that front onto back thing and my front wheel hit the edge instead of landing on. Lets just say my Wrists are pretty darn sore..... Im on an average of 1 crap fall a week

I think your allowed to jump over but then if you fall its your fault cous you jumped the fence. Its just to stop idiots riding it and trying to sue them when they crash.

Awesome vid bud, you have improved a hell of alot and learnt some new tricks since I was there in March. I think its time the CT guys came to JHB.

Ill give the Pump Track a 9.99 the only thing thats lacking is the rider. Its one serious workout, definately worth a try.

How much do you feel like spending? Rough guess on prices, Trials specific bikes (without seats) 20" 8k 26" 11k GT Zaskar Trials frame 3k but then you have to build it up, entry build around 7k good build 10/12k If you are just getting into Trials you could also just go for a Dirt Jump bike, the geometry is pretty much the same (just put a longer stem on) and they are cheaper, more than sufficient for your first year or so. Note, your first bike will take ALOT of punishment, so strong is good.

Iv been getting some lessons from Tiago, its amazing how you can use your front wheel to pull yourself up onto something. It wasn't much of a bunny hop, there was a little ridge in the rocks (where all the leaves are) which i used as a launch to jump off, then whilst trying to keep your body moving, in 1 motion hook your front wheel on top of the rock and use it to pull your body up. It took me a few tries to get it right and my bash guard will never look the same.

Tiago Catarino, Trials rider from Portugal, background is international competition Trials in 20" catagory, is here till mid October. I bumped into him on Sunday at the bike park and had a short ride with him, I was really amazed with his riding skills and how easy he made everything look. We will be doing rides as often as we can, Sat, Sun and either Wed or Thus evenings untill he leaves. We will be at Rosebank on Thursday 19:30, meeting at Dopio Zero Rocks by the Spruit jumps on Sat at 12:00 Sunday TBC 8-11 L8r Peach

you can only straighten a hanger 2 or 3 times before it snaps, 1K is ALOT to spend on a tool. Will you really notice if it is 1 degree out

Ervin Jacobs brings in Zoo and Echo through Cyclesport if I'm not much mistaken. ok cool, Dylan Victor brings them in through Fritz, never knew about this other guy thou. how much does he sell them for?

where you studying, are you specifically looking at the Echo or Zoo, does the seated trials bike not appeal to you at all. I know the guy who brings in Zoo ill give him a call to see if he also brought in the echo

how long have you been riding trials for? where do you live, Durban?

a bit less distance would sound a bit better to me, sounds like a long ride.

seen as i only really use 1 gear does my bike count as a SS??? if so then it sounds good to me
