We suffered a pretty cold and wet winter so I will be cycling a lot to make up for all the days missed. I would still trade a Euro spring for some mountains any day!
Spent a few hours exploring new routes in Holland, yesterday. Cycle Path that leads out of Amsterdam. Tulips along the canal. The smell was intense. Taking the trail into a forest. The forest. Dunes of Zandvoort. Negotiating crosswinds.
Awesome! Replace all those trees with buildings and all those fallen leaves with people and that should more or less illustrate what I have put up with every morning!
There are twats behind the wheel but most are on scooters zipping in and out recklessly between cyclists. I was also spat on by a scooter D@#s when he couldn't race past me and had to slam on the brakes.
