While I would rather be dead than be seeing riding a raleigh. I this case the raleigh is a better buy. Apart from the looks aspect ( interesting spoke pattern on the wheels and the frame is good looking too) The components too are of a better spec than the silverback. Deore Vs Alvio. If you can get the raleigh, then I would suggest you take it.

It was a good race but the three hills in the beginning were rather harsh, but the rest was flat and fast. Reserve chick I cycled some of the way on the highway out with you. no, the derailleurs, should be fine. Crank too. I went from 9 to 10 and only replaced shifters, chain and cassette. I use campag but i suspect the same will apply to Shimano.
