  1. Do not, i repeat, do not make this mistake, and one last thing, they range from 2-6k? Overpriced, maybe... but, the best money can buy...
  2. Just a tip for all the Santa Cruz owners, before last years epic I bought my first Santa brand New from Bruce.. Last week one of the bolts holding the suspension to the frame snapped... I took it back to bruce and they said this can happen and they actually recommend a pro Pack which you can buy that replaces all your bolts after 1 year... Something to consider before riding this year.. I didnt know so I just thought id share..
  3. Didnt mean it like that.. obviously, but I agree... Train like a women, train like a man, or dont train at all, I dont care
  4. Im crapping myself if it rains...
  5. So what do you guyz think about the route, I think its going to be a tough one...
  6. 8 hours is cutting it tight ma man!
  7. Hi Velouria, Have you done the epic before?
  8. The distributors are the only ones making money these days, retailers are fighting for margins between 20 and 30 % everyday.. Specially online... Something is whack : for example, just look at this ... https://www.lordgunbicycles.co.uk/sram-x01-eagle-1x12s-gxp-groupset
  9. Your bike sounds tip top man, maybe some weight on the body? You can still grind a lot of k's in FEB, and if your training plan works out you should be peaking end of FEB and then use the 3 weeks in march to taper it down, good luck
  10. Just a quick tip, as the owner of BC, stop getting involved in these posts, I mean dude, are you seriously giving a unhappy client lip over the internet? Talk to your staff and find a way to fix..orrrr, just leave it... its kinda embarrassing
  11. LOL!!!!! HAHHAHHAHAHAHHAHAHAHHAHAHAHHAAHAHHA, thnx for this dude, Cracked myself!
  12. Good afternoon Fanie, doing my first half in Durbs this year, is it better than the one in east london? And also, how is the cycing route on Durbs 70.3, fast? Cheers Retief
  13. Sort of know this, but the reason im asking is I saw a crap-load of guys with this badge on their custom kit at the epic this year, looks a lot better than the rider badge
  14. Hi gents, Did any1 use this logo for their custom kit last year? Or only the rider badge, just trying to find out if we are allowed to use this?

  16. Also got married exactly 3 weeks after this years epic, my wife was so gatvol... almost didn't get married ..... good luck man, and dont be a droe drol at your bachelors, dont get a lot of those in life....
  17. As long as you have a solid December, you should be fine, try getting 1200km's for DEC, no need to do that in a hurry, just get the KM's and Hours in, nurture your body in that time and dont get sick or injured, lots of quality work follows in January... Youll be more than fine..
  18. Valid point, but im still sticking with my opinion, In life there are only two bills I pay with a smile, the one is for the lady who cleans the house, and the other is for the mechanic on the epic... Ive never had my bike with a shop, alwayz used a private guy... He keeps all our extra bags, nutrition, rides our bikes back to pta when we done ect ect.. .I even had a problem with my pillow on stage 2, after we finished the stage, the mechanic already got me a new one..
  19. Not sure about all the packages, but I can tell u one thing, get yourself the best guy/shop thats fits your budget, also, make sure you pick a mechanic thats not overbooked with bikes... Stakes are so high At the Epic cause of the time and financial commitments just to be there... so this part needs to be right
