  1. Bose for the win, bought my qc15's about 6 years ago and still going strong.(had to replace the ear cups). Use them for when I fly overseas. Goodbye airplane noise, baby's crying and the arbitrary cabin announcements. As mentioned in thread, get them overseas (amazon), as they are much cheaper there. You can also keep an eye on carbonite.co.za, seen quite a few going for a good price there in the past. Other headphones that rock are senheiser's. but to be honest havent tried the noise cancelling ones. Have a set of HD600's that I use all the time when im not travelling, they are awsome.

    baggies arent the problem
  7. Used them, no problems except SAPO clearance times.
  8. Build a niner ROS. http://niner.co.za/product-category/ros-9/ Absolute blast to ride.
  9. +1 one on this, go up concrete climb a few times and you should be able to climb spionkop. Berg and bush is a awesome joll of a ride, and the climbing isn't too hectic. You will remember the fun of the downs more than the pain of the ups.
  10. Initially thought the army green was fugly as hell. But this pics a beut. Damn nice looking bike.
  11. +1 on the Santa. Also recently bought a new bike. I looked at: Evil the following, liked the reviews, videos, etc but read bad things about their after-sales support (not local - but from Evil inc.) and the longevity of their paintwork , and at that price wasn't keen on the risk. Also the rear suspension mechanics look like a bit of a dirt trap. Spez Camber : Great bike, great reviews, but spez's parts spec in comparison with similar priced boutique bikes was always substandard, i.e less bang for buck. YT Jeffsy looked great but what put me off was boost rear and non boost front. The Non symmetricality bugged me (my inner german) ,other than that it looked like a brilliant bike with great components for the price. Final choice ended up being between Santa Hightower, Yeti SB5c and a Pyga stage max. All the listed bikes had similar geometry, fantastic reviews and where all dead sexy. Ended up going with the Santa The ability to flip between 29er and 27.5 inch wheels (2bikes for 1) , lifetime warranty on frame and bearings and the fact that I got a brilliant deal and a trade in from my Santa dealer cemented the choice. Still look at the Evil, Pyga and Yeti with lust though. N+1 right ?
  12. Would be interested to see what the scumbag gets charged with, attempted robbery or attempted murder.
  13. Also started banting and lost about 4 ks this month. (first month on the diet) Foods also tasty and I haven't been craving the carbs as much as I though I would.
  14. i use the nukeproof neutron evo. Grippy , light and cheap. Been using a set for two years now and still going strong.
