    That's one of the alternates I was looking at and is half the price of local (don't know about postage & duties etc though).

    Annoyingly every time I see a set I like they hit *out of stock* status within 24 hours. I was interested in the ones you sent the link for - out of stock now. Liked the look of another set, went back to check the price later and... Out of stock.Only ones left? The most expensive set they have. I have a feeling that if I get the money they wont be available either.

    If the clothes were clean then you caved too early.I wanted to buy some pedals this week but the wife made such a fuss over the need to eat I was forced to give in (I will sneak out and get the pedals next week when she isn't looking...)

    I understand your point but I think we quite often unintentionally throw up barriers to entry when we start talking about the cost of MTB.

    But if he doesn't have 6 to 7 k he has to work with the budget he has.If he starts with the R 3,000 bike and enjoys it at least he has something to ride while he starts saving for the upgrade and in the meantime he will gather some experience towards knowing what to look for when the upgrade happens.     Would the comment have stayed there if the poster hadn't kicked off this general mess, PR storm, dogs breakfast for the club and then found himself arrested?I would like to believe the club on the whole is a good club with admirable aims but the fact that a member feels safe to brag openly on their FB page about assaulting somebody gives me reason to wonder.

    If thats the case can you explain why one of them went onto their Facebook page to gob off and brag about how they had shown people not to "mess with" their club? Is it some fiendishly clever tactic devised by their legal team or possibly the action of an amped up little cretin that wanted to show everybody how tough he is. you know like children do before they grow up.

    Are you really this much of an idiot away from a keyboard? I am going to assume you are joking here because the actions you describe there are those of an uncontrollable idiot that should be locked away for his own safety and for the safety and peace of mind of all that come into contact with you. If you act the way you describe you need to be put somewhere where the residents arent allowed shoelaces, belts, anything pointy and get to write with crayons if they have been good that day.
