Hi Alison I just bought a new 29er MTB. I was looking at the usual suspects i.e Scott Scale, Momsen, Silverback, etc but then I saw the Cannondale Flash and I fell in love. I got the Alloy Flash 1 for just over R21000, I am 1.75 and the medium fits like a glove. I am more comfortable on it than on my 26" medium Scott. Good luck

I just upgraded from Olympic shoes to Shimano M162's from crc. The difference is unbelievable. The shimanos are just so comfortable, and walking with them is almost like wearing takkies, I can even drive with them on.

I like the idea of a Fox fork and am hoping for a 15mm thru axle and tapered headtube.

Rumours of the Rock Shox Reba being replaced by a Fox shock.

It seems that the people at Scott really know how to keep a secret. Apparently the 2013 Scott bikes are on their way to the local bike shops, but noone seems to know what they look like or what specs are!

Does the Storm 1 have a remote lockout on the fork?

Hi, I road the red route on my own about a year ago. I took it easy and it was ok. The only incident was when I came across a troop of baboons on the trail near the end. I'm not sure who got the biggest fright me or them, I nearly crapped myself though, I got a serious fright. I was pretty tired by then, but found some energy to sprint a couple of hundred meters.

Just my 2 cents worth, but a traffic circle isn't about fair, it's about improving the flow of traffic. A lot of people want to treat a traffic circle like a 4 way stop, if that is what the municipality wanted then they would have put a 4 way stop there!!!!!!

It's a sad day when a fellow cyclist knocks down another cyclist with his car!!!!!!!!!!! I was knocked over by a motorist in Walker Drive P.E. in September last year and my brand new Silverback Sierra was written off. I'm still battling with neck injuries, otherwise ok.
