I ended with 217km. Congrats to all that made it. I am in for similar challenges in future although I will skip the EPIC challenge! Thanks I enjoyed this.

When I got to MTB this morning the front wheel was flat. No time to fix so grabbed the road bike instead. Then took the short route in. The legs are getting heavy so actually grateful for the rest.

Be careful out there. I hit a pedestrian last week on a dirt road. He did not see me and got a fright. Next thing he jumped in my way. Luckily he was not hurt. I went over the bars. Bruised shoulder, ribs, elbow and wrist. It could have been worse... Needless to say I bought a bell over the weekend and it does work. Even if they do not clear they are not frightened anymore.

So frustrated! Last night endomondo did not start and I missed 25km. This morning it only registered 11km. At least you helped me out of my laziness and I am commuting more than my usual 14km per trip.

I agree, K-man. I knocked of 1:05 from my 2013 time. Still took 7 hrs to complete.... I felt it was tougher than in 2013 as well although I am fitter than back then. I thought I pushed harder than in 2013. I need a route with more hills for 2016!

What crank is/was it? What is the BB width of the frame? 68mm or 73mm Thanks Flowta, it is a Sram XO crank. The frame is 68mm.

I have fitted a BB30 to my Momsen AL529 frame. The frame is standard BSA thread.I used a Raceface 30mm series BB available at CRC. I needed to fit without any spacers but it works perfectly.
