  3. also take into consideration that the same route can change dramatically depending on the time of day you use it, i.e., an early morning commute to work with very little traffic can turn into a return home commute in rush hour traffic.
  4. Sorry to hear that, I've raised a defect to the COCT before via their website to get certain glass infested areas cleaned up, maybe try that.
  5. I'm also liking the look of that wind tomorrow, tailwind in and out for me

    My first ever vinyl purchase
  7. Cycling into work this morning with a fairly decent tailwind I had found myself with time to let my thoughts wander and I questioned my need to commute. I assume most of you guys commute to beat the traffic, however if your like me, I have very little traffic to contend with on my normal drive to and from work, so I guess I'm just doing it to spend more time on my bike with a hint of health benefit thrown in. Anyone else in the same boat or with a different reason than beating the traffic?
  8. One for the Geordies
  9. I ride this trail network 3 times a week, I won't hesitate to reach into my pocket on 1st December to renew my membership. It's an absolute bargain. I don't however think it's unreasonable for the club to explain why a larger increase than normal is necessary, To be honest if it's going towards Patricks salary I'm all for it.
  10. Yeah, we wanna know

  14. I once worked in an office bordering on a nature reserve. We had a resident Cape Cobra that lived in the veld outside our office. In the mornings around 9-10am we would watch through the windows as its head would pop up from a hole and it would open its hood to catch the suns rays to heat up his circulation. By late afternoon the bugger was diving down tunnels chasing mice. Very active. Quite often we would see his tail disappearing down one hole and a mouse scampering out of another nearby hole followed by Mr. Slither. So that's my unscientific findings on the activity of Cobras, verder weet ek F**ol
  15. Not an expert on snakes but being cold blooded I expect the snakes to be more active during the warmer parts of the day. That's why I try ride early in the morning before they wake up.
  16. I think both Newcastle & Southampton should hand in their Premiership cards after that performance
  17. My son supports Arsenal even though he was born here in SA. I believe it's because they were the first team alphabetically that pops up on playstation. Myself, I've been a Newcastle Utd fan as I come from Hexham in the North East.
  18. Stuff I've realized on the Driving App: I can drive at 8km/h above the speed limit without penalty Roundabouts are points killers Make sure your phone is in a position where it doesn't move around That last section of road before you turn into Hoogekraal is a 60 Zone, who knew!
  19. Milking the driving app at the moment, I've discovered that "Driving Miss Daisy" is my superpower. Yoh, but people get agitated when you choose to drive just over the speed limit
